Audio Receiver Amplifier

[5.0] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a new compact audio receiver to try out at home. Here is now my review of the Pyle Home PTA24BT audio source amplifier. This device is quite compact in size. Although I have to say, the audio was great! You need to provide your own speakers though. This amplifier contains modern features such as Bluetooth Connectivity, for wireless music streaming, so that you can play content from your smartphone, or your computer. The device has multiple inputs, such as MP3 player, USB, micro SD connections. It also has a built-in Radio, though it’s FM only. There is one particular function that can be very useful. The “Talk-Over Function”. This is where you can activate the MIC talk-over function to temporarily pause the audio so you can make announcements or get people’s attention. I can see a lot of equalization controls, which is expected in these kind of devices. When I look at how the device actually looks, I wonder, is this something pleasing to see? I think so, the design is stylish, it’s sleek and minimalist, it would blend well in the background of a living room, an office, or entertainment area. Now, how does it actually sound? Well it is powerful in its output. It is 250-watt, so that is impressive, for the size. It’s important to notice that this receiver is “Karaoke Ready”, if you get a microphone (standard connection) you will take advantage of this. To finalize my review, I’ll say that this amplifier is reliable, and it has powerful performance. I have already chosen what area of my house it will be utilized.

[0.245 lb] Because the Sennheiser receiver amplifier does not come with antennas these are a must have to boost the signal of the woefully inadequate antennas that come with the Sennheiser receivers. These are inexpensive and work well.

[91 dB] Awesome center channel. Hooked up an amplifier so that I can get that extra power that my receiver couldn't provide. This beast woke.up and what a sound. Klipsch, please make a stand or wall mount for this speaker.

[Yes] Terrific receiver/amplifier for the money. Great FM reception and the bluetooth range is very good. Very good sound quality. The unit is very easy to configure and operate.

[13.7 lb] I live in a hilly area where FM is sketchy and only few stations come trough, but AM radio rules. Radio is great, and both AM and FM antennas work well. Interestingly, Yamaha seems to be the only one on the market with FM. On the amplifier side it works with an older JVC tape deck, but if I want to listen to vinyl, an additional preamp is needed on the way to the receiver, receiver's amplifier alone won't work. Once preamp is in place all sounds fine. The Bluetooth is the receive mode to play from the devices. This is not a send mode Bluetooth to Bluetooth speakers, as some users assume.

[20 Hz - 20kHz] I use the Aluratek ABC02F Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter connected to the Optical Audio output on my Sony TV. It pairs with a set of Sony Bluetooth earbuds to provide a separate channel for audio for my aging ears while the TV's audio continues to function independently for the rest of the family. The optical connection to the TV was simple and the ABC02F paired quickly and easily to the Sony Earbuds. The ABC02F is plugged into a USB port on the TV and is always on so the earbuds are reconnected within the time it takes to remove them from their charger/case and insert them into the ear.

[Handheld] One of the best Wireless Audio System I ever tried. The audio is very clean, even when the signal is at 70/100m. Also it doesn't lose signal when there's interference between the transmitter and the receiver, like I experienced on another brands. The case that comes with the mics will charge Wirelessly both the mics and the receiver (like the apple airpods) which honestly is one of my favourite things about the Lark 150, as a run&gun filmmaker I'm always on the move and knowing that my mics are always charged is essential for my work. The audio quality is crisp and clear and with the recent firmware update it just got even better.

[36.06 lb] The Bluesound Node Network Audio Player is flat out Amazing!!! After reading several reviews I decided to purchase this Wireless Music Streamer from B and H along with Canare RCA Audio Cables and WOW you don't need 'golden ears' to hear your music come alive with depth and realism...thanks to B and H's fast shipping it arrived in just a couple of days. You don't need an amplifier but if you have an amplifier/receiver, plug in the RCA cables connect the Bluesound Node wired or wireless to your network, download the Bluesound app to your phone or tablet, select your streaming source; Amazon Music, Spotify, Tidal, etc. then enjoy...oh my, I was blown away...or enjoy one of the very many internet radio stations. Absolutely Five Stars!!!
