[Aluminum] The HD2000 Stabilizer System by Glidecam is a fantastic and well engineered product. The user manuel is very detailed. But if you need some more set up information check out utube. I have used a couple of camera Stabilizers and this is by far the most quickes and easiest to configure. This is a must buy if you are in the market for such a product.

[4.45 lb] This is a great camera stabilizer. I bought it to use with the t2i, and so far its worked great it does take a little practice and some time to find the right balance. but its worth it the shots turn out great once you get those two things down. I use the t2i with a battery grip and quick release plate along with the tamron 17-50 2.8 and it was still a little on the light side. The HD 1000 would be a better choice for the canon rebel series, unless you can get the weight heavier with lens, battery grip, ect. Overall a great product would defiantly recommend!
