Ball And Socket Car Phone Holder

[0.41 lb] I searched seemingly forever for a phone holder for my car. Nothing worked. Decided to check with Peak Design because of the quality and innovation of their products line. Bingo! This is high quality and worked great. You just need to follow their instructions and guiding information to a tee. The only thing I regret is that I did not order the charging car mount because of the price but now I wish I did! This product works well, and pleases me aesthetically. PD also has accompanying videos for most of their products. Recommend to watch those before and after you purchase as they are informational (and quite entertaining too!) and answer a lot of FAQ. Highly recommend!

[USB-C Male] This is single handed the best mobile phone holder for your filming with an iPhone (as well as your car, boat, head or just about anywhere) If only they made a connector that attached the phone magnetically to the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 gimble and my life would be complete. I have faith that the genius’s at Peak Design are already onto it

[2] Used with Ram Mounts Quick-Grip phone holder to attach to 1" ball on my motorcycle. Able to adjust to many different viewing positions and doesn't budge once tightened down. Love it.

[1] Nice that it is convertable to wall socket and car charger. Has flip out plug which helps keep it compact. Not too big--so it fits well in a small camera bag and lightweight.

[Black] I am using this lamp holder for mobile video with an LED flood bulb and a Photogentic ION battery pack mounted on a Stroboframe Pro-RL Flash Bracket with a RPS Studio 12 Speedlite Beauty Dish. This great lamp holder was the finishing touch that completed an awesome rig. It weights almost nothing so its addition to the total weight has made no change in being able to hand hold my set up. Only problem I had was that the bracket itself did not hold the socket tight enough, but a little rebending on the vise with a hammer fixed that and now the system and socket work great.

[0.205 lb] Installation was a breeze. Mount to an Arca ball head and mount the light with it's own cold shoe lock. The design, fit and finish are excellent. Weighs only 1.4oz. It also has 1/4-20 & 3/8-16 side mounting screw holes for additional accessory attachments (lights, magic arms, external MIC, etc) and a 1/4-20 base socket. There's even a friction umbrella socket to help modify your light. Gets the job done!
