[1.73 lb] I've never owned a ball head or gear head. For years if been using the heads that come with "cheap" tripods and those did the job. Although they did require a lot of small of adjustments during shoots which at the time were nothing. That is until I pulled the trigger and got this beauty. I was nervous spending so much on this one equipment but I can tell you now with confidence that this piece of well engineered equipment is one of the better purchases you'll make regardless of your shooting style. Make adjustment after I've composed my shot is now a breeze! All I do I turn a knob to ensure my lines are parallel and camera is straight! It's amazing! I would definitely recommend it!

[Fluid Head] I was looking for a way to swap my tripod heads on my tripods. I have a Ball Head, Geared Head, Video Head and Gimbal Head. Bought the Kirk TQR-MPL (1 No) & TQR-MPS(3 Nos) for my heads. Now I can easily swap my tripod heads without any hassle and the plate is very well made. Please do not be deceived by the picture in the BH site. There are no removable safety screws, its just 2 bumps which is permanent (I believe Kirk modified the design) and I don't see a problem with that. Go for it and you will not regret. Definitely worth recommending...

[Yes] I own 2 of these, one for each of my tripods. These are vastly superior to even the most expensive ball heads. I've run into wildlife scenes where there are already other photographers setting up, and I can walk up, do a rough composition, then just tweak the knobs for fine adjustments, and be walking away while others are still trying to compose their image.

[Black] I have several tripods and heads, but I wanted a heavy duty ball head to use with my long lens (500 mm). This ball head is stout enough to handle the long lens with no problem, and it is so smooth. I am impressed.

[7 x 7 x 6.6"] I have several ball heads for my tripods. I got this because I wanted more precision movement than the ball head provides. Granted, the fast adjustment suffers a little but I think the benefits far outweigh that..

[Drawstring] I use the Snoot Boots over my ball heads for my tripods to protect them as needed. The draw cord with a cord loc holds in in place very well. But, if you need even more holding power, use some paracord with a cord loc. OP/Tech is my product of choice for protection of my “stuff”. Jim, Charlotte, NC

[0.965 lb] Robus Tripods are totally UNDERRATED! I bought this because I use multiple Ball heads, with this additional flat plate I can quickly and easily swap out heads. They both work FLAWLESSLY!!!!! ROBUS products compete with all the top brands, at a price point well below Really Right Stuff and ProMediaGear.

[Fabric, Steel] Tripods are lightweight and easy to set up. Ball heads are perfect for this type of application. But the star of the show is the Luxli Fiddle - these lights are amazing. I use them for night photography and they are easy to control using the app, either individually or together. I had one Fiddle already, and realized how useful having 2 more with a couple of tripods could be, so I bought this package. I am extremely happy with this purchase!
