Expect to get three to maybe five years out of it if very lucky. Still, best price/performance compared to a leading competitor.

[Nikon IR] This is a basic remote that does exactly what it's supposed to do. So far I have not had any problems with ranges of up to 20 feet. You do have to point it at the front of the camera in order for it to work. Your camera settings do the rest, and you set your camera to detect the remote either right away, or you can delay the shot so you have time to put the remote away and pose for the camera.

[3000:1] Monitor has a great picture and was an ease to set up. Remote is basic but does what needs to be done. So far no issues and it has most of the apps we use pre loaded so was even better.
