Bass Amp Head And Cabinet

[0.585 lb] Has been on my want list for a while so the sale on the package of amp and phones was too irresistible. I don't even have 50hrs on this setup and it sounds great. I have some nice cans and a Woo tube amp for reference and a Marantz SA11S2 disc spinner. Have never like solid state head amps till now. The 800S cans have some of the Senn house sound and not that different from the 600S but to use an oft used cliche, there is more there, there. Garbage in garbage out but with SACD's I have been listening to, the 800S sounds spectacular. Maybe a tad recessed in the mids but that could be remedied with some eq. All the bass is there but this is not a bass head can to be sure. I am running these balanced all the way. I do not like their 1/8 balanced plug cable that the 800S comes with. It also has 1/4 single ended cable. Never heard of an 1/8 balanced jack but the HDV820 has one. The 800S is a light and comfortable can with a sweet but full non fatiguing sound. And another cliche, I am hearing things I never heard before in recordings I know intimately. Highly recommended.

[Zipper] My TC Electronic BH250 bass amp head was getting a little beat-up from hauling it around without any kind of a case. I bought this for it, and it's totally perfect! The B&H price is also about 1/2 what others charge for similar bags. Nice extra pouch for holding power cord and guitar cord. Over the shoulder strap will allow me to make single trips for load-in. This on one shoulder, gig bag with bass on the other, and both my hands are free now for carrying my TC 2x8 cabs. Made in Vietnam btw, not china.

[Black] This mic sounds great - I've used it on various amp cabinets (specifically Hammond Tone Cabinet and bass) and it sounds fantastic. Can handle whatever SPL you can throw at it, even sounded surprisingly sweet on close-up dialogue. Very rugged and solid, quality feel and $ performance.

[Download] I use this mainly for practice with headphones. It also works and sounds great through a PA. I was pleased to see I can also use it through my guitar amp. The amp and cabinet simulations all sound great. So I’m hoping this will add different character to my amp when needed for certain songs. It’s a great addition to any rig!

[1] Excellent price on an excellent product. The second mini cabinet takes it out from the standard plastic portable amp category into an easy to carry practice amp with some presence. Good range of sounds for an amp of this size. This one is a different breed from the clock radio sound many other practice amps suffer from. This is now my official vacationing practice bass amp of choice.

[100 to 240 VAC] Purchased (2) of these and will add a third since I'm adding another amp to my system. These keep my amp and AVR cool inside my cabinet with doors that have openings in the rear for the exhaust. I set both of my T8's at 89F and it does an excellent job. The fan noise is slightly noticeable if my cabinet doors are open in variable mode but can hear the fans pretty well if the fans are running full, which rarely happens so far. This is an inexpensive investment for those who have amps & AVR's that typically run warm.

[0.08 lb] Needed two of these for a bass guitar extension cabinet. Very easy to build with speaker cable I had at home (16AWG works fine for a 2ft cable) and some hand tools- no soldering needed. Saved myself money and weight by not buying an overbuilt speaker cable. At $4/connector, I will probably pick up a few more to make backup cables.

[100 to 240 VAC] Using this for bass amp. Have an Ampeg SVT Pro pre-amp running into it. Using it bridged.
