At the moment, I'm using it with the FiiO E6 and it's just absolutely fantastic. Even in Grado's consumer-friendly products (to describe it as low-tier is an insult to the product. There is nothing low about it except the crisp bass that comes out of these cans), you can tell that the company has never skimped in quality. The SR80e is a more than adequate pair of headphones for people who are just starting out with high-end audio equipment. The sound is spacious, the bass is clean and its highs are very beautiful. However, it's the mids that truly excel in these headphones. You can vividly hear every nuance in a song. I've discovered a lot of new sounds from songs and records I've listened to for years. Some people might find the cord a little bit too long but a simple twist tie would take care of it. All in all, a really great product that's has incredible value for your money.

[1 User] Got these on sale for $39. Needed something over the ear due to the fact that I wear behind the ear hearing aids. These sound good and are very comfortable to wear for an extended listening period. Can't go wrong. If you're looking for super bass look elsewhere. These reveal tight accurate bass.
