[0.495 lb] One of the Q&A’s says the Bescor BLS50AC dummy battery adapter kit is not compatible with the Olympus E-PL9.  I asked Bescor ( answers@bescor.com ) why the kit is compatible with the Olympus OM-D E-M5/M10, but not the Olympus Pen E PL9, since all three use the same Olympus BLS-50 battery.   The response was: “It will work. Your camera just needs to be added to our list.” The Bescor is 8V 3A. The Olympus battery is 7.2V 1175 mAh (1.175A).  I did some online research to see if a device built for 7.2V could operate at 8V.  One person describing himself as an engineer posted that 7.4V Lithium batteries actually span a 6V to 8.4v voltage range depending on state of charge of the battery.  Another “senior electrical engineer” said that because all devices are designed with some voltage tolerance value, a 7.4 volt device means 7.4 volt +/- 1 to 1.5 volts.  Still other posts indicated that you can use a 3A power adapter on a 1.5A device.  By logical extension, I figured (I don’t actually know) that since the PL9 uses a 7.2 volt battery, it is probably designed to also work at 8 volts, and is also okay running at 3A. Based on the response from Bescor and the Internet voltage and amperage responses, I decided to purchase the Bescor and use it with my PL9.  I haven’t seen any sign of overheating or other problems with this setup so far, but will update this review if that changes. I did not deduct points for the need to leave the battery compartment open because I knew that would be the case when I bought it.

[Olympus BLH-1] The camcorder battery that I needed this for it was to small so I took some card board off the box with some duck tape and made that sucker fit The charge took a couple couples but that was normal for for my JVC camcorder The Battery is a JVC Md# BN-VG107U Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery

[Active 3-Way] worked just like the product I replaced except uses a double A battery instead of a nine volt.

[10.2 oz (290 g)] This was made for connecting my HM100 HD camcorder to my Blu-Ray JVC 2500 recorder. Makes connecting and copying Hi Def video to burn direct to Blu-Ray a snap. It is small and easily protable and half the cost of most converters! Love it and recommend to all that need to convert HDMI to SDI.

[RED RANGER] This is the perfect camcorder bag for models like the JVC GY-100U, Panasonic AG-HMC40, Sony HVR-A1U or other small professional video cameras. Just the right size for the camera and other gear like hand microphone, cables, wireless kits, batteries, etc. Nothing else comes close for the quality, value and price. Made in the USA is a nice touch! I got it for $ at B&H. Nothing to complain about (I always could use more storage, but I don't want a bigger bag). Get it because nothing else compare!!!

[Panasonic] I purchased this to use with a JVC GY-HM250 camcorder. The zoom control that this was able to give to the camera was great. Provides excellent control of the zoom speed with this camera. Could start very very gradually. Start / Stop function correctly control recording as well. Well spaced to use when clamped to tripod handle.
