Belkin Bluetooth Keyboard Case For Apple Ipad Mini

[, White] So far, I have really taken to this Keyboard Case. It connects to the iPad perfectly thru those 3 little pins (unlike Apple's solution which I returned). The case does a great job of protecting the entire iPad and I much prefer the feel of the keyboard as compared to Apple's keyboard. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Apple will truly sacrifice everything a keyboard case is supposed to be (a decent keyboard, a decent case) at the expense of design. Things this keyboard has that Apple decided to let you figure out for yourself: - Adjustable back-lit keys - Proper key travel for an enjoyable typing experience even for prolonged periods (this review being typed on the case) - A pen carrying solution - A flap to keep the case closed and your iPad safe - Function keys - Actual iPad corner protection for drops Just to name some off the top of my head  Because of the keyboard, I use my MBP 13” 1/4 of the time now, its brilliant. I will hand write my notes and study but for the times I want a good typing experience I just flip this case over. Truly unlocks potential in the 3rd gen iPad Pro, I take this thing places I otherwise wouldn’t have because of the case. 5/5 I think Apple’s business model is smart - the more pathetic the case, the more likely they’ll be back to buy another one because their’s got dropped once and is gone for good.

I don't need to remove this protective case to use the keyboard, hence reducing the risk that the iPad get damaged if accidently falls. The magnets allow the iPad and keyboard to remain fixed but in case of fall these will be easily disconnected causing the iPad to get damaged. Additionally, installation is easy, fits like a glove and very easy to carry and use.

[2.285 lb] After several efforts to make an iPad more than just a browsing and gaming gadget, I dove deeper with the 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch. iOS 13 convinced me that the iPad might be more useful than previously. The iOS makes a big difference, but having a real keyboard to use with it, made the iPAD Pro a home run. I'm very satisfied with this keyboards performance and functionality. The Apple smart keyboard is too limited for my needs (think: emaciated super model) and the big bulky overbuilt keyboards negate the advantages of the iPads diminutive size. I can't speak to it's durability as I've only had it a couple of months. So far so good. I'm actually using the iPad Pro more and more for emails, writing and everyday tasks that I gave up on with my previous iPAD 2 and iPAD Air 2. It is quickly becoming a replacement for my MBP for mobile computing needs. The Logitech Slim Folio Pro, along with an Apple Pencil is a big part of that transition.

[Yes] The Magic Keyboard is a serious improvement over the original keyboard I purchased for my 2017 iPad Pro, and that was pretty good. But there's really no fair comparison, since the new model is backlit, can charge the Apple Pencil, and appears to be more durable. I like the typing action. Typically, for Apple products, it's pricey, but I feel strongly that I got my money's worth.

[Yes] I considered the Apple Keyboard's for my new iPad Air 4th generation. I have had both brands before for earlier iPad's. This Logitech keyboard is in the same league as the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio (similar configuration), but has three very important features that are lacking on the Apple keyboard. 1. Backlit keys. 2. Top row of short-cut function keys. 3. Trackpad. So, for less money, you can have a keyboard with much more functionality.
