[3.3' / 1 m] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently swapped my normal charger (Apple) with this Belkin International Lightning to USB A Boost Charge cable, and while I do think they probably charge about the same speed, Belkin is SO much cheaper than an Apple charger. Chargers break all of the time, especially with my kids and how hard they are on them, so to be able to have a much more affordable option that holds up and charges like the more expensive brands, I really love that.

Didn’t want to spend almost twice as much for Apple and I didn’t need to! This does everything the Apple version does. Full speed for everything I did, love the fast transfers! Charging is so much faster now too! The cord is well-built and sturdy. Highly recommend!

I had a lesser brand adapter performing this function previously and had an issue wherein the connection between the computer and monitor would frequently become lost, requiring the adapter to be unplugged and replugged to regain a display. I understand that this is a common problem affecting the Apple M1 line of computers. I am proud to say that in my time with this adapter I have NOT experienced this connection failure a single time. Poorly made adapters are known to exhibit flickering screens, inaccurate colors, or slow display response and I have seen none of these issues with the Belkin USB-C to VGA adapter. Likewise it was compatible with color calibration as if no adapter was present, which is the hallmark of a truly quality adapter. Belkin products are known for quality and you can trust the name. This adapter may be nominally more expensive than a no-brand counterpart but the performance, reliability, and complete lack of headaches are all worth every penny of the price without question. If you have an older VGA monitor that you want to breathe new life into this product is hands down the best solution (and far less expensive than purchasing a new monitor).

[7-Pin LEMO] When I saw Belkin was the same price as Apple’s thunderbolt 3 cable, it was a no brainer—you can’t go wrong with Apple adapters or cables. Size seems to be limited when it comes to data and TB3 chords. The $129 Apple TB3 cable seems way over priced, but the 2 standard sizes are solid, a decent price in comparison and Apple CService is top notch, just NOT as good as B&H, of course.

This unit keeps my MacBook Pro fully charged during intensive video editing and graphic compositing/rendering. Love the SD slots in the front, the headphone jack seems to work better for me than the internal MacBook headphone port, just an all around great purchase, thank you!
