Benq Computer Monitor Replacement

[60 Hz] I bought this monitor because my computer could not drive a 4k monitor. It is a very good monitor in par with the BenQ PD3200U 32 16:9 4K IPS Monitor which I have on my other computer.

[Yes] I ordered this monitor on Saturday evening, Dec. 2, and received it in Bethesda, MD, early the following Monday morning. Well done, as usual, B&H Photo! I unpacked it and set it up, only to find that the proprietary BenQ Palette Master Ultimate software wouldn't recognize either the monitor or my colorimeter. You need the BenQ software to perform a hardware calibration. Other calibration software, even Calman's at $2000, will only perform a software calibration. I called BenQ tech support and was delighted to discover it's U.S.-based. I was not so delighted to have them tell me, however, that the problem with the software had arisen a few weeks ago, and they did not yet have a solution. The BenQ engineers thought a recent Windows update might have made changes that caused the problem. After a few calls, the BenQ tech support staff eventually escalated me to a BenQ technical support manager. She could not have been more diligent in working with me, and after a few days, she provided new drivers for my computer's USB serial computer. Miracle of miracles, that worked! But beware! It only worked when I attached the colorimeter to the side of the monitor via a USB-A port there and to the monitor to the computer via the BenQ-supplied USB-A to USB-B cable.  Palette Master Ultimate would not recognize the colorimeter if I used its native USB-C connection when connected to either the monitor or the computer. There were times early on when I thought I would have to pack up the monitor and send it back to B&H Photo, no small task because the monitor comes in an extraordinarily large box and its packaging is like a Rubik's cube. BenQ's tech support, however, did itself proud! The image quality of the monitor is outstanding, and with the software now working, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

[>95] This is my second BenQ Monitor, but different in some aspects. I am 80 years old and need the benefits of a monitor that protects my eyes. I do the bookkeeping and all the email for my Pipe Organ business and use my computer every day. It is just the right size. I cannot use a monitor larger than this one at 21.5. Large ones are too overwhelming. I appreciate the benefit of the daily use of the BenQ Eye-Care Monitor. Before I got the first BenQ monitor my eyes watered a lot and were tired at the end of the day. I sometimes work until late in the evening, and often use the monitor until after midnight. BenQ monitors are the best, in my opinion.

[31.96 lb] The BenQ monitor was easy to setup and configure. So far it seems to be a definite upgrade from my old monitor.

[0.74 lb] You can never go wrong with ordering the exact OEM replacement. This is the exact Benq OEM Bulb Assembly for use with HT1075 & HT1085st Projectors. It went in properly and easily and worked right. I chose to purchase from B&H over Benq's website despite the same price of the product. B&H had free shipping, and B&H is on the east coast (NYC), as am I, Benqdirect's warehouse is in California. I tend to get things quicker from the east coast. I also felt comfortable buying from B&H.

[0.15 lb] I use the replacement lamp for my BenQ projector HT1085ST. Purchasing this replacement lamp was very easy, simply went to the B&H website, placed my order, and then sat back as updates regarding shipping were emailed to me and I could track my order daily. My replacement lamp came in a day earlier than originally expected which is always a nice surprise. Thank you B&H! #sweepstakes
