[Gray] I have a portable ham radio that produces mono output. When I have stereo headphones plugged in directly, I only get sound in the left ear. When I have the mono-to-stereo adapter plugged into the radio and the headphones plugged into the adapter, I get sound in both ears, which is exactly what I wanted.

[1 User] Ive been buying these headphones from back when they were Optimus branded and sold at Radio Shack.  They sound insanely good for the weight/price, great for situations where you need critical audio all day but dont want to wear heavy cans or in ear monitors.
