[10x USB-A] I'm using the Xcellon Pro Hub providing a second screen /display with a 2022 Mac Book Air with the M2 Chip. Everything works as they should, by connecting the Mac, wireless mouse and keyboard. Output Image looks beautiful on my 4K TV in my studio. This is also great when adding a second screen so my clients can select the images they want to purchase after a photography session while my MacBook is facing on the other side. The Xcellon Pro Hub plays 4K 60 seamless and they unit itself doesn't get hot, just barely warm in what I'm using it for. Plays 4K 60 with no problem. I have attached images along with this review if you want to see. The only thing I didn't test as a "torture" test was trying to transfer 4K files from a card or drive plugged in while watching a 4K video playback at the same time, but this is something that I will not need or see doing with this adapter. Transferring files is also a breeze and it is fast. The primary thing I'm going to use this adapter for is to serve as a secondary external display. And it does it flawlessly. Keep in min that, if you have an older Mac laptop with older M1 chips, the output will be limited to 4K 30 because of the M1 chip limitations. If your Mac has a M1Pro or M1Max or M2 will allow 4K 60, just like mine did. Very happy with this device. It will be extremely useful in my studio. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[400:1] I own vMix 4k and Wirecast Pro, both are good. The only advantage of Wirecast is MAC or PC.  vMix is a great production switcher works with many codecs. For us the huge advantage vMix is The multicorder meaning capturing each video stream live creating a separate file for each camera is phenomenal. (both require a capture card) I capture 8 Full HD 10bit 1920x1080 HQX files and also a Master mix file without dropping frames.  Wire-cast maybe 2-3 streams equal quality and i drop frames by the boatload. Otherwise they are about the same. vMix all the way!!!!!!!

[Yes] Finally my Mac Pro 2013 can be used with 4k monitors with smooth refresh rate. I tried many adapters and cables, and this is the only one that worked.

[Percussion] I'd been dragging my feet about upgrading from an 09' Mac Pro 8core machine but decided with 4K coming that I needed to make the upgrade. My renders are taking place in 1/2 the time as before and it just sits at idle. Amazing speed in such a small, quiet package. No regrets or buyer's remorse. Apple is still king of the hill for video editing & photography, so question...

[1-Year ] I purchased the Pegasus2 R6 to use with a new Mac Pro (late 2013) for editing 4K video. This drive comes preconfigured as a Raid 5 properly formatted for the Mac. After hooking up the Pegasus2 it automatically begins synchronizations which, for this 18TB array, required about 8 hours. The Raid 5 system is then ready for use. I found the expected high data transfer rates of about 720 MB/sec for this raid system. The Pegasus2 is very quiet in operation producing only a small amount of noise as the disks spin up. During writing to or reading from the array, the system is virtually inaudible. The Pegasus2 can be configured and controlled from the Promise Utility that comes installed on the array. This utility has an excellent interface that allows the user to address every aspect of array operation including the sophisticated power management features of The Pegasus2. The only issue that I had upon first using the Pegasus was that the hard drives were spinning down frequently when not being used for a few minutes. This caused a delay of about 10-15 seconds for the hard drives to spin up when they were addressed. I was able to correct this via commands provided by Promise and entered via Terminal commands directly to the CLI interface elf the Pegasus2. I have been told by Promise that the next version of the Promise Utility will allow this to be done completely from within the utility without the need to use a command line interface. I believe the Pegasus2 R6 is a perfect companion to the new Mac Pro for editing 4K video and other purposes where high data transfer speeds and large disk capacity are required.

[41 lb] I have been editing on a 2013 Mac Pro since 2015. With 4K and beyond on the doorstep, Thunderbolt 3 and faster, better GPUs have become critical. The extra cores, Tbolt 3 and big GPU did not disappoint

[218 ppi] There are a lot of monitor alternatives out there, especially if you go to 4k, but I decided to bite the bullet and get this with my Mac studio. I'm very happy with it, although yes it's a lot of money for what it is. So from what I was able to research, this vs the lg ultra fine 5k, and if you're using it with a Mac and have the extra $300 to fork up, it's probably your best bet to go with the studio display.
