[8 GB] UPDATE: I've been with this card for almost 2 months now. And here is my final report after watching a few other AMD card like the interesting RX 7900GRE roll out. I remain ecstatic with this card. IMO it is the definitive GPU for 1080P-1440P gaming. I couldn't be more pleased with the benchmarks I'm getting in tests and in games. For example: Horizon Zero Dawn, Dark Siders 2, Crysis 2, Halo Legendary, Mass Effect Legendary and Kingdom of Amalur Reckoning are beyond beautiful games. They are magical! And all scale & play seamlessly at well over 200 FPS in 1080P on ultra settings. 1080P is my resolution of choice for up close PC gaming (new & old games). And this Gigabyte GPU, paired with my new AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D is just unbeatable price-value-performance for maxed out AM4 gaming IMO. I am literally excited to play my entire library of Steam/XBox/EA games all over again with this setup. I am also going to snag a BenQ 34Mobius 1080P/1440P monitor with HDR, 400nits, 179HZ etc to fully max out this set up. And be satisfied for years to come.

[Yes] The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X an outstanding CPU. It is capable of any task either gaming or video editing. For the price this is the best production CPU I have tested. I highly recommend the Ryzen 9 5950X.

[Mid 2023] Did not buy for gaming but for video and animation. It is super fast and along with the graphic card make the work go by quickly.

[LGA 1700] I decided to build a new gaming PC around the AMD 7800X3D. I had trouble finding a motherboard that would POST. I went through 3 different boards before I tried the MSI Tomahawk. The Tomahawk posted a d booted up on the first try. It runs great and I am extremely happy with it's performance.

[3.29 lb] I ordered ASUS TUF Gaming X670E-PLUS WIFI on Jan 10, 2023. After more than 7 months of using this motherboard with AMD Ryzen AM5 CPUs with air-cooling, I am satisfied with the persistent stability and availability of this motherboard. ASUS also updates the BIOS frequently so I can try new features like more compatibility with newer density memory modules. Overall, I would recommend this motherboard for buyers who plan to build AMD Ryan 7000 systems.

[140 W] I'll start by saying I have over the years gone back and forth between AMD and Intel with whoever has the best CPU at the time for my gaming habits. This later also expanded into some stuff like video editing and streaming from time to time. Though I still use my system for gaming 95% of the time. That said I also love to build PC's and typically enjoy the higher end enthusiast builds. Because of this I have over the past 10 years been using Intel's HEDT motherboards like X79, X99 and now X299 chipsets. Currently running an X299 Asus Rampage VI Apex board I had originally purchased with an i9-7900X. Based on this I felt an easy and now cheaper upgrade to the i9-10920X CPU would be the best route. Yes there are better AMD CPU's out there right now, but Intel still does very well in the gaming performance. So since this was just a CPU swap out for me it was the best way to go I could keep everything else in my system as is. This motherboard has been rock solid and only 2 years old at this moment. I was not disappointed, this CPU works great out of the box. Has very good turbo features for those that don't know how to overclock. It will consistently run 2 cores at 4.8Ghz, 2 at 4.7Ghz, 2 or 3 at 4.6, and the rest at 4.5 down to 4.4. Using Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0 software you can force older games that use typically 1 main core to use your strongest cores first for the extra speed. If the program/game has great multicore support then you have the 12 cores which really is plenty for gaming and enough for a good balance of production unless you crunch videos all day. OC wise I have only messed with it some so far but it's not hard to get this CPU to 5.0Ghz on all cores with what I am using, a Corsair H115i Pro AIO water cooler.
