[1/4" TRS] I have had these headphones for almost 10 years. In these 10 years, they have been THE BEST headphones I have used for mixing. I have used a bunch of headphones and studio monitors in that time, and nothing has beat them out, not even the infamous Sony 7506 (given, cheaper, but more prevalent headphones in studios) Things to note with these headphones; they are not super low end present. If you are getting these to listen to consumer music, you may not like them because they are not "boomy" or "full". These headphones are for users who are looking for definition and clarity for making a solid mix. The other note is a MINOR complaint; the part of the headset that rests on the top of your head/hair has worn out for me. The muffs also wore out, but I replaced them. If there is a way to replace the foam under the band, please let me know because I would love to have them looking brand new again. I broke the cable that came with the headphones by accidentally vacuuming it about 2 years in (stupid, I know), but the detachable cable saved me some money. Also nice if you want to swap out different size cables. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to invest in headphones for studio mixing. 5 |

[+24 dBu ] This little unit is incredible, I use it for simple things like Discord and Game Streaming. TotalMix FX makes mixing on the fly incredibly simple, no need for a giant mixing board on your desk, TotalMix takes care of it all. Monitoring my inputs in real time is simple, even with my RME ADI-2 DAC connected via ADAT, there's zero latency. Listening to Music through your headphones without passing that audio through to your stream is so simple with TotalMix. Just send game audio and your microphone to one hardware output with loopback on, then send all of those sources plus your music app to your headphones. It's too simple. The only issue I have with this device is it's lack of compressor and gate. I would much rather have those than the built in reverb and echo options. RME has stated that the babyface's DSP chip is not capable of more than a couple effects due to the number of available channels, but it would be nice if owners could pick and choose which effects were available based on their application. I decided to purchase a $200 DBX 286s channel strip to take care of this, instead of upgrading to a fireface which would be an additional $700. All in all, this unit does exactly what I need which is to allow me to use the windows devices instead of ASIO as most of my gaming applications do not have an ASIO option. Programs like ASIO4all and Voicemeeter Banana are great when you have a Focusrite like I did, but the Babyface Pro FS and TotalMix FX cannot be beat. I highly recommend this device and wish I had purchased one years ago. 5 |

[0.35 lb] These are fantastic headphones once you get them broken in. I use them daily for audio editing and some mixing. They are extremely comfortable and have very clean, clear sound that allows me to pickup on edits or problem frequencies better than when I monitor through my mains, though they won't beat a good room and good monitors for mixing. I will say that they are very large. Much larger than the Sennheiser HD600. One reason I got these headphones is that they are much easier to drive from normal pro equipment when compared the HD600 and HD650. I no longer need to carry a headphone amp with me just to do some basic editing. Most audio interfaces seem to do a good job driving the K701s. 5 |

[0.055 lb] I prefer my Audio-technica for mixing but I have a couple other sets of headphones and speakers to reference between. These sound fantastic at a great price. 5 |

[1x RJ45 Female] I'm thrilled, that I can hear on both speakers on my headphones now that I'm connecting to the Rode mixing board. 5 |

[Semi-Open-Back] As a composer, recording artist and 20-year veteran of big recording studios, I had been looking for a reliable headphone to use during the mixing and mastering process in my new home studio (I have great reference speakers, but I like to mix at night, and this helps keep peace in the neighborhood). Yeah, I know and I've read in every magazine and online source that you can't mix with headphones. WRONG. The K 701s provide superbly reliable reproduction of instrumental music during tracking and mixing (bleed during tracking can, of course, be an issue with the 701s...if your mic is close to your headphones during recording, you need a closed-back headphone...I use my Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones for those kind of tracking applications). But mixing and mastering is where the 701s are worth more than twice the price. Finally...reliably true sound (no phony extra bass, etc.), no ear fatigue (even after a 6-hour mixing session), and the price, especially from B&H, is on the money. I buy all kinds of recording gear from MIDI controllers to outboard effects processors, etc. Nothing I've ever purchased has made me feel as good about spending my hard-earned money. If you are a WORKING (home) studio musician and you want your next CD to sound professional...mix it using these, and it will. PS: I'm a struggling musician and recording pro, NOT an audiophile. I like things that work, that last and that sound good. That's why I like my 701s. 5 |

[58 x 37 x 19"] I am finally able to mix with headphones! These are so much more than an eq curve. It is like you can really hear the mixing environment. 5 |
