Best Backpack For Large Format Camera Equipment

[Yes] I packed my large ICU with my camera equipment & put my Innorel tripod in the side pouch, I realized that this was going to be heavy. I have had two back surgeries, but when I put the backpack on, it actually felt lighter. I have to say that it was worth every penny & the one month wait, to get this backpack. [Yes] I have been looking for something to carry my large format rig in that is comfortable and functional. This backpack hits all the marks I need. I don't know how I functioned before. I can comfortably and safely carry my 8x10 camera, two lenses, three holders, filters, meter, darkcloth. I don't worry about throwing my back out anymore. That's a nice feeling. For the price, it's a game-changer

[4.2 oz / 120 g] I am new to digital photography. I come from large format black and white. I recently purchased digital equipment except for my strobes circa 1980's. I am totally unfamiliar with all of the modern language of photography. I knew cords were no longer needed to sync strobes with my modern camera. I called for help and ordered the Vello Off-Camera TTL Flash Cord for my Nikon. I was able to successfully fire my Elinchrom strobes. The digital world seems much simpler than the old days of large format and waiting to see how your film develops!

I'm glad that I ordered the cube and lower back belt-it helps to keep the majority of the weight on the hip rather than the shoulder. I will be doing a photo/hike sabbatical out west in July 2024.and can't wait. I will update when I return. I have a feeling that it will out-comfort and out-perform my out-other bags.
