Best Cable Over Ear Headphones

[7.5 x 2 x 0.1"] Over the years I have gone through many headphones almost all of which broke. The head band broke or one of the ear pieces broke off. These are extremely well made and virtually unbreakable. More importantly, it has superb sound able to pick up from the lowest frequency to the highest! The sound is very rich, full and clear. Love them!

[USB-C] I am enjoying my Marshall Over-ear Monitor II A.N.C headphones. Lots O'padding, comfortable when I wear my glasses. The Noise cancelling feature is really awesome.

[0.8 lb / 0.4 kg] Over the ear headphones reduce ambient noise. Sound quality is very good for mono headphones.

[2.5 Hours] I personally don’t get on with in-ear headphones. Over-ear seem too cumbersome as I use mine mainly on dog walks and need to carry them in my pocket sometimes. The Major IV seem to offer the best of both worlds. They are on-ear, yet deliver a really good sound. The design is simple and different to most other headphones available. The battery life is astonishing. I’ve had mine for two weeks now and still haven’t needed to charge them. Really, really pleased with them.

[36 Ohms] I recently got my hands on the AKG K371 Over-Ear Oval Closed-Back Studio Headphones and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. The sound quality is outstanding, rivaling my higher-priced Sennheiser headphones. The AKG K371 delivers clear, balanced audio, making it an excellent choice for both casual listening and studio work. The design of the headphones is another highlight. However, it's worth noting that the AKG K371 headphones do not offer significant sound isolation from external noise. I particularly like the shape of the ear buds. They stay in your ears securely even while running. It comes with 2 additional ear tips, one smaller and one larger than the one that is installed when you receive it. The medium tips work fine for me. The ear tips were also very easy to take on and off, which isn’t always the case. The flat design of the cables keeps them from tangling in my purse or pocket. The cables feel very high quality. Since I often use only one ear bud while using the phone, the cable management feature is very convenient for keeping your cable from tangling or getting caught on other objects. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for quality listening and convenience.

[1/4" TRS] I have had these headphones for almost 10 years. In these 10 years, they have been THE BEST headphones I have used for mixing. I have used a bunch of headphones and studio monitors in that time, and nothing has beat them out, not even the infamous Sony 7506 (given, cheaper, but more prevalent headphones in studios) Things to note with these headphones; they are not super low end present. If you are getting these to listen to consumer music, you may not like them because they are not "boomy" or "full". These headphones are for users who are looking for definition and clarity for making a solid mix. The other note is a MINOR complaint; the part of the headset that rests on the top of your head/hair has worn out for me. The muffs also wore out, but I replaced them. If there is a way to replace the foam under the band, please let me know because I would love to have them looking brand new again. I broke the cable that came with the headphones by accidentally vacuuming it about 2 years in (stupid, I know), but the detachable cable saved me some money. Also nice if you want to swap out different size cables. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to invest in headphones for studio mixing.

[Open-Ear] Ear pods always fall out of my ears and over or around ear headphones are heavy and uncomfortable after a while. So I was looking for something different and found these! OMG…they sound fantastic and I don’t even realize that I’m wearing them. I’m sold for life!

[Closed-Back] Nice headphones. Comfortable around the ear. The ANC works really well.
