Best Car Phone Holder To Shoot Video

[0.41 lb] I searched seemingly forever for a phone holder for my car. Nothing worked. Decided to check with Peak Design because of the quality and innovation of their products line. Bingo! This is high quality and worked great. You just need to follow their instructions and guiding information to a tee. The only thing I regret is that I did not order the charging car mount because of the price but now I wish I did! This product works well, and pleases me aesthetically. PD also has accompanying videos for most of their products. Recommend to watch those before and after you purchase as they are informational (and quite entertaining too!) and answer a lot of FAQ. Highly recommend!

[Black] If you have a GoPro (or other lightweight video camera) and like to shoot from your car, boat, or aircraft.......this is the product for you! I shoot a lot of video from my truck and use this suction mount mostly on glass surfaces. I have 2 suction mounts made by Panavise and have been very pleased with the results. Camera can be turned and rotated at every imaginable angle.....I can't imagine NOT having one in my video bag!

[0.445 lb] The 750 provides the light I needed to do video at a low OSI. I shoot video with a Nikon D800, and I find that I can shoot at an ISO of 200 using two Arrilite 750. Originally I thought of using the 750 lamp for main and the 550 lamp for the fill. I've decided it is more practical to use the 750 lamp in both. If the fill needs to be less intense, I can simply back the fill light stand back or add a grid. I ended up getting an extra set of the accessory holder. Why? One accessory holder is used for a soft box, allowing me to use the second accessory holder for the barn doors. I'm using the Impact 16x24 Luxbank Duo. They work fine. You do NOT want to use the interior diffuser when using constant light, because it gets too hot. In fact, you also want all four air vents to be open. Nor do you want to close the soft box at the back; just keep the flaps open to allow the heat to disperse. Con: The on/off switch is located 4.5' down the cable. In most cases that puts the switch on the ground. If you don't mind bending over, it's not a big issue. Pro: As you would hope for a constant light, it is perfectly quiet.
