[1x Fan] A hard drive died in my aging desktop, and I figured I'd replace it with a modern NVMe SSD. Of course my old motherboard doesn't have M.2 slots, so I decided to try this adapter. My motherboard is from an era before NVMe's existed (Ivy Bridge CPU), so there was some concern for compatibility. Luckily, everything worked seamlessly! The heatsink is a bit gimmicky; considering the included thermal pad and that my SSD had some cover on top of its chips, I'm dubious about the actual heat transfer. Regardless, things seem to be running cool and smooth! 5 |

[1x 3.5"] I purchased this adapter to help mount a Crucial SSD drive in my desktop computer. I have installed the drive but have not mounted it yet so I have not actually used this adapter. It appears to be well made and able to do its attended job well. I have no doubt that it will by perfect for its intended use. 5 |
