Best Dual Monitor Laptop Docking Station

Plug and play driver installation via Windows Update; manual driver installation on macOS. Dock does not charge host PC. I have already recommended the Plugable USB 3 Universal Docking Station for Dual Monitor to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and used this docking station to manage their dual monitors quite easily and they all love to use this device.

[1x SKVM Male] I bought this to see if I could get dual monitor operation from my HP docking station. It was very easy to install, and after a few display adjustments, went right to work. I am very pleased with the display quality, which I attribute in part to the cables construction. I would purchase this same adapter/cable again for other applications.

[6.27 lb] I have a laptop docking station (display port, dvi) and a PC (dvi, dvi) connected to the switch. the switch is then connected to one monitor via dvi, and the other via a dvi-hdmi cable. My docking station requires an adapter for the display port. I am having no issues switching between the two. The PC and laptop goes to sleep just as it did before using the switch.� One thing that is a bit odd is the monitor that is connected via the dvi-hdmi cable will randomly come on even if neither the PC or laptop is on. Not a big deal, I just turn the monitor off when I am done using it.

[1x HDMI Male] I was unable to use my monitor consistently with my new docking station and laptop. The docking station kept asking for more power from the laptop. My Tech guy couldn't figure out a solution. A consultant at BH PhotoVideo suggested I plug my monitor directly into my laptop as monitors draw a lot of power and often times docking stations can't handle a full load. He recommended the cable here, which I bought. Now my system works beautifully. Thank you BH Photovideo!

[91 ppi] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Viewsonic TD2455 24" touch monitor in order to upgrade from an older Viewsonic 22" touch monitor. The additional features provided by the TD2455 were beyond my expectations. I use the monitor with a laptop and a docking station in order to see a bigger display. By using the USB-C connection to the monitor and my laptop, I was able to eliminate the docking station and all the wires it entailed. Specifically, the single USB-C connection provides power to my laptop and controls the video and touch functions of the monitor. The monitor also has two built-in downstream USB-A ports. I use one of these ports to plug in the unifying receiver for my full-size wireless keyboard and mouse. I love the new monitor, its beautiful display, and the less clutter resulting from fewer wires needed. My only disappointment is that the USB-C cable was not included in the box with the monitor. I had to purchase it separately.

[20 VDC] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This docking station will make anybody's life a lot easier if they use a laptop. I keep all of my devices (mouse, keyboard, speakers, microphone, and monitor) plugged into it. When I need to travel for work I can simply unplug my computer when I leave and plug it back in when I get back. Love that it has a stand and plenty of USB ports. The one thing that I wish it had is two HDMI ports. I like using two monitors for work but I can still use a monitor and the screen on the laptop so it's not a big deal.

[25" Monitor] I use a laptop, docking station, and two monitors. The Dell UltraSharp 31.5 is a good monitor for editing photos. The display has sharp images on a large screen.
