Best Fuji Lenses For Portraits

[FUJIFILM X] Best lens Fuji has. It completes my kit along with the also awesome 50mm F2 WR and the 50-140 OIS WR. It's got the magic that I had not experienced on the system before. Definitely buy the metal hood for it. It's expensive but worth it as this lens invites you to get really close for crazy shallow depth of field macro stuff.  There are loads of stellar reviews so I can't add much. However, I'll complain: -Don't love the focus clutch. The MF experience is great but the clutch just adds a step and requires you to disable AF+MF manual focus override, which I use on all my other lenses. I could do without. -Loud focus motor can affect video. However, it's super smooth at AF...better than most Fuji lenses..especially on a gimbal. Very accurate even at 1.4. So you just have to keep your mic off camera or use a heavy lowpass. Or just deal with it. It's not terrible but it will bug some people.

[APS-C] Fuji native lenses are not cheap and there aren’t many options available. The biggest thing I wanted from my xt3 was better low light performance. I even contemplated going full frame but just couldn’t give up my beloved fuji! I got this lens for a trip to colorado and my god this lens blew my mind! At 1.4 this lens is sharp especially towards the center. The autofocus is unbelievably good and quiet! I’m a video guy and I appreciate the silent motor. At this price you cannot get a better lens. This is a MUST for every fuji owner. I was thinking about getting the fringer adapter plus sigma 18-35 canon mount for my fuji as a one and done but so glad I chose this for my low light bokeh and my 16-55 f2.8 fuji as my zoom for pro work.

[f/16] By far the BEST prime I have ever used. I kept renting this lens to do portraits as favors to family and friends, as I am really just a landscape and abstract art photographer. I immediately became obsessed and kept renting it for other things as well. I waited for a few months for B&H to have it back in stock and jumped on it as soon as it was available! Soooo worth the wait! The bokeh of the is lens, even when not all the way open is creamy and dreamy! This is my second sigma art lens I've added to my arsenal, and as much as I loved my 20, this one is truly in a class by itself! Do yourself a favor if you are a portrait photographer, and get this lens! Your clients will truly be amazed!

This is the BEST sized bag I have ever owned. It fits my Fuji and lens with no problem and yet can still fit in between the seats of my Mini Cooper. If you are thinking of a gorgeous bag this one will not disappoint! Craftsmanship is absolutely impeccable!
