[Risers: Steel] I use these as a Camera Slider Stabilized by adding a female 5/8" receiver with a male 3/8-16. Best stabilizer I have used to date.

Excellent stabilizer! This has changed my way of filming.. turning handheld dance -art videos into much more professional quality work. The stabilizer has a panning option which needs some getting used to. Really impressive for a lot of movement - if you are following a subject, etc. This is a real game changer. If you are filming longer then 2 hours, bring an extra set of batteries, and you are good to go!

[5.9 x 4.7 x 1"] Ideal for my stabilizer as it doesn't hinder stabilization. Best decision I could have made.

[Black] I have a good Canon camera, needed one Video stabilizer for better quality videos, with this Revo ST-500 I could very easily set and get the desired results. I take photos and videos on family occasions at home and outdoor.

[12 lb] I bought this for my canon cinema camera. First camera stabilizer I’ve bought and used after doing tons of research online. A very solid confident build.

[1.18 lb] This is a great way to smoothly handle my Canon C100 Mark ii camera. I tried a smaller motorized gimbal with my DSLR camera and lost patience with getting it balanced and the extra tech that's required. I like the hand-held look but the weight of the C100 camera, over time, makes it difficult to keep steady. Just the FLYCAM stabilizer and a mounted camera is heavy, but the vest makes it effortless. It's doubtful someone could support the camera and stabilizer alone for any length of time without a Herculean arm. After quickly balancing it, I walked around, through doorways, and climbed some stairs to test it out. It was so smooth that the video just glided with barely a notice of my movements. I even ran into something while shooting and it was hardly noticeable. Planning to use this a lot!

[3.385 lb] I came from the era of the Canon XL1. Remember that camera? If not, look up a picture. A lot was said about that funky fold-out chest pad, but I loved it. It was a thoughtful, ergonomic solution for a camera that could be used handheld, but didn't have enough back-weight to justify a full pad balanced on your shoulder. I don't know why more prosumer or compact cinema cameras didn't implement a similar solution. Anyway, the LanParte Chest Pad... it's awesome. I own two of them. I have a very compact Canon R5C setup and I like to shoot handheld, but I don't like to do the mid-body baby-tuck hold. I'm also not stable enough to just hold the rig by the camera grip and an added left-side handle. This allows me to have the magic 3 points of contact for more stable handheld shooting. It does put a little more weigh forward of your body, so you have to allow for that and rest when possible... keep that in mind. Also, since I like to keep the rig as close to my body as possible, I replaced the included 8 aluminum rod with a 6 carbon fiber rod to move it closer in, and help a little with weight. This is not a replacement for a shoulder pad setup, it is an alternative setup for handheld work. Know what you're getting this pad for, and I think you'll like it. Highly recommended.

[LCD] I make documentaries exclusively, mostly handheld, and I've been waiting a long time for an affordable 10 bit 422 state-of-the-art cinema style 4K camera that meets contemporary broadcast standards - and the EVA1 is it. With an EVF (I use a Gratical X) and grip extension, the camera is light and comfortable to use for hours on end. And the resulting pictures are stunning, the color you'd expect from Panasonic. There are numerous User buttons on both the body and grip, similar to the Canon C cameras, so everything is fast and intuitive. And I love the six 1/4-20 holes on the top that allow mounting accessories without needing to add a cheese plate. My only gripe is the difficulty to change ISO from the native settings of 800 and 2,500. Doing that requires diving into the menu and making changes that need to be changed back afterwards. It would have been nice if that operation was possible with the User dial, or the iris dial on the grip (as with the Canon). But the camera is so perfect otherwise I'm still giving it 5 stars.
