[Clear] I have been using a similarly priced set of in-ear headphones for about 5 years and have been very happy with them. With some upcoming travel, I wanted to look into a setup with better passive isolation and kept coming back to the SE215 in all of my research. These sound incredible for the price, and I am really enjoying the sound isolation! Bass response is nice and tight and helps maintain a lot of clarity at lower volumes. I would definitely buy these again.

[AAC, LDAC, SBC] I love these headphones. As stated in the title, I replaced my Shure SE215 in-ear monitors with these. I used Shure IEM's for traveling because of the high sound isolation provided by the triple flange ear tips. I decided to go a different direction with these because all my other headphones are Sony and I've always preferred the sound of Sony. I use Sony IEMs and Sony over-ear headphones for producing, mixing, and mastering music to give you an idea of my sound preference and experience with critical listening. The noise cancellation in the WI-1000XM2 is very comparable to the sound isolation of the Shure's. I would say with the proper fit, the noise cancellation is better, unquestionably in the low frequencies. The sound of the WI-1000XM2 is excellent. Slightly bright but not overbearing and certainly not lacking in bass. Detailed, clear, and balanced. I've already used them for traveling and love them, especially on planes. This is my first neckband headphone and it doesn't bother me. I might even say I prefer it as they can remain around my neck without constant stowing. Also, the cords to the earpieces are short won't tangle :) The build quality is excellent. I highly recommend them!

[1.1 lb] So far I have only used these headphones for an electronic drum kit. I'm no sound engineer but I am pretty picky about sound. To my ears, the sound seems pretty flat, clear and natural. My favorite thing about them is the comfort. After hours of use I forget I have them on. As far as sound isolation they only minimally block ambient sounds. So if you're looking for major isolation they aren't for you. But they do seal well around my ears so with sound running through them it would take a lot to distract you. The cord is plenty long and the 1/8 to 1/4 adapter screws on which is nice. I don't have much to compare them to, but I am very happy with my purchase.

[1.22 lb] I own a semi pro studio in Ransomville NY. I have tried other so called isolation headphones. The CAD DH100 phones reject outside noise better than some of the more expensive name brand models. Most drummers that record here go out and buy their own, once they use them. Buy a set...you won't be disappointed.

[Open-Back] The isolation these offer is great, they totally shut out noise from the outside world. Their midbass response is very emphasized, to the point of them sounding a little underwater-ish out of the box. I have it EQ'd down about 3db centered on 350Hz, spanning from about 150-800Hz and with that they sound immaculate. Definitely my favorite pair of headphones I've tried to date, I prefer these over DT 770 or Sundara (the other headphones I have experience with). They have a powerful bass response but not at the expense of other frequencies, if you're into electronic music or anything with substantial low-end, these will do it justice. The headband isn't padded extremely well, they are plenty comfortable at first but after a few hours of wearing them it can get fatiguing on the head, I added a few adhesive memory foam pads to the headband to remedy this. If you're after a perfectly flat response, look into the endless open back options. But if isolation and really present low-end response is what you want, these will take you to another world!

[4.9' / 1.5 m] I’ve been through many pairs of headphones over the years. They’re great for in the field due to isolation and being lightweight. They’re not the most comfortable for prolonged use but few headphones are. My main complaint would be the short cable length. If they’re still working after a couple years of use I’d say 10 outta 10. Only time will tell. As for now, I’m pleased with the purchase & would recommend.

[0.005 lb] As a college student and professional DJ and producer, I wear headphones all day. I typically DJ with the Crossfade M-100 headphones and use them as my mobile headphones. However, I wear glasses. This is a killer for me on most headphones, making them uncomfortable or less isolation. The cushions that come with the V-MODA Crossfade M-100 headphones are comfortable but lack significant padding like competitors. I preferred the clarity of the M-100 headphones to the Beats Pro headphones but the comfort was not there. I decided to purchase the XL Memory cushions after having talked with a representative from V-MODA. The representative said this would solve my problem with discomfort and lack of isolation significantly. The XL cushions, when applied, are significantly thicker than the original ear pads. They provide a firm fit around your head. I think the XL pads are well worth it especially for those who love the M-100 or LP2 headphones.

[Black] Best fit and noise isolation in my opinion. At least for these IEM's (SE842). I can always count on B n H with shipping so I bought here vs everywhere else.
