[30x 3-Prong] I recently ventured back to HiFi. Back in the day I had loads of quality equipment including Quad Electrostatic model Ts and host of great analogue equipment which has all gone by the wayside as I moved throughout my lifetime with less space than before. So I decide to get HiFi in a box with the latest KEF LS 50 Wireless 2 speakers along with a pair of KC 62 Subs. After placing the LS 50 W 2's on stands I noticed the super sharp accurate sound that I had heard in the audition room, but something else was missing from the equation. That something else was the cleaning up of the electricity before it reached my equipment. When I first heard of this I thought it to be hocus-pocus, but I read the reviews, called Furman customer service and decided to there was solid reasoning towards what improvements I would hear. So I made the purchase and I hooked up the Furman 20 PFI and let me tell you, brother, the step up in clarity, staging, speed of sound and warmth was immediately very apparent. It is definitely worth the investment for this particular unit, and it should only get better as the equipment achieves full breakup, which according to Furman is about 2 weeks down the road after plugging in. Needless to say I'm looking forward to a fortnight from now. If you are on the fence I strongly recommend that you take the leap. You will not regret it.

[0.175 lb] This extension cord gives me the range to us my new Rode NTH-100 Professional Closed-Back Over-Ear Headphones from my sofa to the AVR to watch TV. Great quality.

[0.8 lb] These headphones were an upgrade from my HD650 headphones and I can safely say the upgrade was worth it. If you are looking for the best premium HIFI headphones on the market for less than $2000, these are it.

[9.7" (24.8 cm)] Best outdoor speaker made. Suggested by Klipsch HiFi guru Mike Dyet. The best in the business.

[Memory Foam] I wouldn't pay full retail for these headphones, but at the current sale price, it's a great set of headphones if an open back design will work for you. Keep this in mind - professional studio recording headphones have to be a closed back design, for multiple obvious reasons. It's more difficult to get neutral balanced sound from the drivers with closed backs. So thus you get the whole headphone scene for audio production tasks. You can't use these Philips headphones for any of that, but for normal consumer enjoyment of music, if nobody is bothered by the sound coming out the back of the phones, these sound absolutely fantastic. Beautiful open, clear, three dimensional soundstage that presents any recording at its best.

[2 Hours] This Philips Fidelio X2HR choice was my first open-backed headphones after always using closed-backed. It was a great choice. The sound is much better than I was used to and the comfort level on the ears and head is also much more comfortable. I am not an audiophile like some of the other reviewers, yet I am very pleased with my choice. I highly recommend these headphones.

[12 Ohms] I purchased these as an upgrade, and have enjoyed them so far. They’re lightweight, and even though they’re closed-back headphones, they’re not hot or tight on my head. The high frequencies stand out a little more than I’m used to, but it didn’t take long to adjust my hearing.
