Best Home Security Camera Dvr System Server

[1x RJ45 ] I purchased this camera to run on a pc based security system called Bluecherry DVR. I was surprised to find out that a camera costing so little could provide such high quality. The camera was easily recognized by the system and functioned perfectly. The camera is well made and I will be purchasing more GeoVision IP cameras.

[30 G] My Flir DVR Security Camera system had a hard drive failure after several years. I got this as a replacement. Opened DVR Case, unplugged 2 cables on hard drive, removed 4 screws holding the drive, swapped out the old drive for the new and reversed order to put it back together. Formatted drive with DVR and my system is back up and running perfectly now!

[22 TB] Replaced a home camera security system that’s been running continuously since 2014. The hard drive in that system was a western digital purple drive. Unquestionable reliability is the reason another WD Purple drive was purchased for the new system.

[16] I purchased this NVR for a simple two camera security system on my home. I bought a separate hard drive, which gave me twice the recording capacity for the same price as one that came pre-installed. Installation was easy, thanks to videos on YouTube. It came with the necessary connectors to install the hard drive. I installed the NVR , along with my cable modern and wifi router, in a pantry and it works fine. It is plugged into a good quality surge protector. It make a bit more noise that I expected, but it is not bothersome. Hopefully it will provide years of service.

[48 VDC] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received a shiny new BX850 UPS recently. I'm using it to protect a small home office server with critical personal and small business data on it. SInce I live in an isolated area of the high desert, power fluctuations, sags, and outages are common, especially when the wind starts blowing hard. This UPS has already saved my system a couple times. The downloadable software makes it easy to interface and protect the server from prolonged outages. I also like the fact that I can determine how much power the system is consuming. The Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) is a very nice feature. My input power varies quite a bit, but the server sees nice steady voltage and the clear, well-illuminated LCD display.lets me know just what is going on. Overall a great product, and it came packed in recyclable cardboard. The package had been banged around enough to partially crush a corner of the box during shipping, but the UPS was in perfect shape. The included setup guide was both comprehensive and very readable. Some other manufacturer hardware documents I've received have been printed in very tiny, low contrast type, and were hard to read. This UPS arrived with readable documents--very refreshing! In addition to my home use, I am a practicing computer security professional and system designer,and I use UPS systems to protect a major IT Datacenter andlarge network where I work--also out here in the High Desert areas of Southern California.

[White] I purchased the case for a small media server in my home. One purpose for the system was to backup my movie DVDs to a Plex server. Finding a case with an external 5.25 drive bay is rare these days. The POP Mini does a great job integrating that drive. It was easy to build in and is perfect for my needs.
