[40 W at 4 Ohms] Also more than expected. I bought this to drive outdoor speakers and figured I'd spend a few more dollars to get Bluetooth. Well B&H must be showing a slightly older model because what I received also has an SD card slot in addition to the USB port and it will play mp3 files! It also has an FM tuner built in. I expected to feed this amp from my main stereo just to drive the outdoor speakers but since the Pyle also has line level output jacks I can also feed my stereo from the Pyle. I was a little afraid of a feedback loop while fiddling with switches but it has not happened. So now I can play mp3's or a Bluetooth source through the whole house inside & out. Perfect! The Pyle also seems to have tons of power. I easily drive a pair of Polk outdoor speakers with the Pyle volume just above zero. If there is any high volume distortion I'll never hear it unless I blow out the speakers. I could very easily drive a second pair of speakers with the Pyle. Great device, very compact, not much heat, good controls. Nothing to dislike. Hope it has a long life. 5 |
