[ LCD] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second HP printer and my first HP color laser printer. My other printer is an HP color inkjet printer. This printer is a little on the heavier side, so it would take some time to take out of the box, but it comes ready to go. I was surprised to see that the toners were pre-installed, and all the printer needed was papers and the power connection. Even though the printer is heavy, it has a very small footprint, and once you set it, you’re pretty much done. I chose not to update the printer as I wanted to be able to use 3rd party toners, and I wish that HP didn’t focus too much on the toner subscription and forced users to do updates often. I understand the security aspect behind it, but this is just overkill. For home office and small business users, this printer would be the perfect option. For print jobs that need to be quick and long, this printer fares much better than its inkjet counterparts. I’m glad that I got this! 5 |
