[Lightning] I had an older 5th gen iPad mini that used the older 1st gen lightning-based Apple Pencil. The battery in my pencil finally died, so I needed a new one. It was a bit confusing as to whether this pencil was the correct replacement, since it mentions USB-C, rather than lightning, but I can confirm that this is indeed the 1st gen lightning-based pencil, that just happens to have a lightning to USB-C adapter mentioned in the product title. 5 |

[Genlock] Just plugged it into the lightning connector of my iPad, with an HDMI cable it connected instantly to a projector. Seemed a bit pricey but Apple connectivity, quality, and guaranteed compatibility is worth it. A great travel accessory for connecting to hotel TVs. 5 |

[Bus Powered] Works with my iPad mini gen 6, with an amazon USB A to C adapter. Comes with a nice cable with a choke in it, bet one must use that one. Not hi-fi but no distortion. for travel, I'll take it! 5 |

[Yes] I kept having the basic cable for my iPad mini bulging and breaking through so wires were visible at lightening end. Apple suggested I try this cord and I am amazed at the durability! I highly recommend to those of us who are a little hard on our cords! 5 |
