[Plastic, Metal] 4/17/2020 To ALL of you The On-Stage 61 Note Keyboard Cover (Black) dust cover is fix on the Samson Carbon 61 - USB/MIDI Keyboard Controller when NOT in use, even it's fit it on there on the keyboard stand and there's no problem, even I left the USB cable on until I can be use it agian while I am learning how to use the Samson Carbon 61 - USB/MIDI Keyboard Controller in a little bit at a time

[USB Bus Power] Im not a pianist but I know just enough to be dangerous and want to learn more, so I thought Id grab a midi controller and do some learning. The Nektar Impact LX25+ fits the bill. It works with my various DAWs, the keys feel good, and its easy to use. My only regret is that I wish Id bought something with even more keys, but for the price, this ones hard to beat!

[100 mA (Max)] This is my first MIDI keyboard and so far is all I need. Full sized keys and not expensive at all ;)

I purchased this desk to use in my music production studio. I have a 61 key midi keyboard that fits perfectly on it. My computer monitor and 6 studio monitors fit perfectly on the top shelf. The desk is stable and comfortable to sit at. For the price you can't beat it.

[1 GB] I was looking for something smaller than my full size Emu Xboard 61 but bigger than my Keith M illen K-Board and this is definitely it. The keys aren't mini-keys, they're slimkeys with velocity and channel aftertouch that feel more like the excellent feel of the Emu Xboard 61 instead of the rubber drumpad-like keys on the K-board. There's no pitchbend/mod wheel, instead there's two capactive touch strips that are very responsive. I'll use the KeyStep primarily with the USB connection, but it also has mod, gate, pitch and sync outputs (and sync in) if I want to connect to modular analog gear. In addition to the USB MIDI connection there are DIN MIDI in and out and a sustain pedal input that automatically senses the polarity of your sustain pedal. The majorly cool features though, are the polyphonic step sequencer and the arpeggiator. Pretty amazing that this stuff is included at all at this price, and they are by no means an after thought. It wasn't that long ago that just the step sequencer functionality would set you back hundreds of dollars if you bought a separate step sequencer. The KeyStep combines this and versatile I/O along with a great feeling keybed for less than $120.
