[3.04 lb] I purchased this to pair with my 16 Intel Mac Pro mainly for adding two external monitors and to have a wired network connection. When the unit arrived, I simply plugged everything in and it just worked. My two monitors came up just fine and I can still use the laptop screen too. The ethernet port works great. When I unplug the dock to use the laptop by itself, then plug it back in, everything goes back to the way it was. Simply a great little dock.

[45 to 85%] I bought two of these cables to add two additional monitors to a Mac Mini M2 Pro. They work great when plugged into the USB-C/TB4 ports. The main monitor is still fed from the built-in HDMI port. The Mac Mini M2 will support one external monitor and the M2 Pro version will support two external monitors. The only problem I have, from time to time, is that I have to reset the display arrangement after reboot or sleep. I don't think this has anything to do with the cable, but seems to be a feature of Mac display management or the order in which the connected monitors sleep and wake up. I've also used the same cable to connect an external monitor to an iPad Pro, for which it also works perfectly.

[0.07 lb] We have a new Mac Mini and an Intel NUC, and we use these cables to connect them to DisplayPort monitors. The DisplayPort connector is latchless, but it fits and connects securely (latches are optional for DisplayPort connections). These have been very reliable for us, and they are VESA compliant. We have used them with many different DisplayPort monitors (including an multi-stream MST setup), and they work excellently.

[None] easy to use on the Mac, you need not install any software. It's just plug and use. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy solution for multiple monitors or projectors.
