[60 W] I own a video production service company wherein I do most of our editing as well as sound design for client videos. I use these monitors in my editing bay. They are interfaced with a dedicated card. These 8 inch monitors with built in amplification provide a descent flat, clean response for the price. After some configuration of the speakers and the room, I have what I feel like is really good sound imaging from these speakers. I compared other brands and sizes and from my research, I determined these to be in the sweet spot of what I was looking for without breaking the bank. And, I have not been disappointed.

[1.35 lb] I have two large monitors I use for video and photo editing. I use external drives for most data storage so I am really just operating off my laptop for a computer. The extra display ports and the USB 2.0 slots make it sooo much easier to work at home. I have plenty of places to plug in drives, card readers, drawing tablet, keyboard, mouse. I haven't had an issue. All the ports work and are recognized. I am on a 2024 macbook pro.

[Active 2-Way] These are superb monitors for video editing- and so much fun to listen to for every genre of music. Be careful to set them up properly so each speaker delivers the sound to you at the same time- and use a high quality DAC- and your music and mixes will be delivered exactly as they should be.

[Rean] I purchased these for monitors I'm running on my pc for video editing and voice over work. They were part of a kit (stands, TRS cables). They work great Thank you B&H!

[2-Way] I've been looking for a good pair of desktop monitors for a while now. My primary use is video editing with Premiere Pro. I also use them for listening to the audio from an SDR (Software Defined Radio) and general purpose use ie: streaming video. These fit my needs perfectly. The are the perfect size for my limited desk space. Best of all the sound quality is awesome! They totally blow away the built in speakers in my laptop. The detail is amazing compared to what I was used to. I have no need for a sub with my setup.

[White] Many years ago I bought a pair of Roland MA-8 monitors for a video editing workstation. I liked them so much that they have stayed with me as different editing systems have come and gone. Unfortunately, Roland no longer makes them. I hunted high and low for another pair recently when I was putting together a second edit suite. I came across these Behringers and they looked pretty much the same. Much to my surprise, when I received them--they are EXACTLY the same. Meaning: Behringer went to the same OEM manufacturer that made the Roland MA-8 and got their name put on them. The only difference is the color. I have been using these for a long time. They are outstanding video editing monitors. Besides the sound quality, what I like is the fact that the amp is in the right speaker, and the left speaker is just a speaker, so one volume control does both speakers, and you get a headphone jack. Simple, easy, and works great.

[Auto] I use this single monitor instead of having multiple monitors for video editing. I love having one big monitor so I can configure my layouts more freely.

[2] I got this primarily to drive my studio monitors on a video editing setup, the quality is good, and the interface is easy enough to dial in your settings

[Yes, HDR10] I bought two of these to use with my MacBook Pro M1 Max as a video editing workstation. ***Note that the only way I was able to display 4K at 60 hertz on both monitors simultaneously was to plug BOTH monitors directly to the MacBook via USB-C to DisplayPort cables. Once I did that and stopped trying to get them to work through the Thunderbolt 4 Dock I have, everything looks excellent.*** The resolution is great, as I can have Premiere Pro open on both monitors with one of the two showing the footage in the program window at close to actual size, which helps to see all the detail of the 4K image while editing. Colors look really good, and while this isn't a reference monitor designed for color grading Hollywood movies, it's plenty accurate for my videography work. Aside from video editing, text is super sharp and crisp, and photos and websites look excellent. Since it's an LCD, black levels are never going to look as inky black as they do on an OLED display, but that's to be expected. You can always get a small OLED TV to use as a makeshift client reference monitor. I originally wanted the Apple Studio Display, but at $1600 for one monitor, it was way too expensive for me. On Black Friday, I was able to snag TWO of these Asus ProArt 27 displays for under $800. That's less than half of ONE Apple display! Sure, it's not made of shiny aluminum, but who cares? Image quality is all I need, and this delivers in spades. Plus, they come with VESA mounting holes in the back as standard, so I was able to place them on a two-monitor VESA mounting arm and free up a bunch of space on my desk. I know the Apple display is 5K and this one is 4K, but two 4K monitors side by side get me way more resolution and work space than one 5K monitor. All in all, I heartily recommend this Asus ProArt 4K monitor to anyone looking for a high-res 27 LCD for content creation and general computing on a Mac (as long as you plug it in directly and not through a docking station).
