Best Multi Port Laptop Docking Station

[6.27 lb] I have a laptop docking station (display port, dvi) and a PC (dvi, dvi) connected to the switch. the switch is then connected to one monitor via dvi, and the other via a dvi-hdmi cable. My docking station requires an adapter for the display port. I am having no issues switching between the two. The PC and laptop goes to sleep just as it did before using the switch.� One thing that is a bit odd is the monitor that is connected via the dvi-hdmi cable will randomly come on even if neither the PC or laptop is on. Not a big deal, I just turn the monitor off when I am done using it.

[OFNP] Have had the cables for two weeks and so far they have been working. My setup is a little unique. I have four Dell 1920x1200 monitors connected to a Dell Thunderbolt4 docking station for my work laptop that also has a Thunderbolt4 port. The cables connect the first set of two monitors to the two Thunderbolt ports on the docking station via the USB-C/DispayPort 1.4 port on the monitors. The second set of monitors are daisy chained to the first set's DisplayPort Out For MST port. Using this arrangement allow me to pass the video and USB data thru a single cable to each set of monitors. I did this because the Logitech USB headset I have has intermittent noise problem when connected to the docking station's USB ports, but doesn't when connected to the monitor's USB ports. The first set of monitors were originally connected to the docking station thru DisplayPort cables and then used a separate USB cable to provide an uplink from the docking station to the monitor's USB-C/DisplayPort port. The headset would still have the intermittent noise. The only other way to prevent it was to plug it directly into the laptop. It was an expension solution to just having one cable plugged into the laptop to run everything else. Plus I wanted to see what kind of connections could be made using the Thunderbolt technology. The reason I didn't daisy chain all four monitors with one cable is because two of the monitors are older and don't have that capability.

It comes with a gigabit ethernet port, 4k DisplayPort, USB 3.0 Fast-Charge, 2 - USB USB 3.0, audio port, 1 USB Type-B (for a printer) and Kensington lock port. No issues when connecting laptop and I did enjoy how little space was taken. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

[12] This laptop docking station has a lot to offer for people that have laptops with no docking feature option. I have an Ultrabook with only 2 USB ports and no other option like Ethernet and as soon I connected it, just work great and plug and play. Great features like the gigabit ethernet port, USB 3.0 4k DisplayPort, audio port, 1 USB Type-B (for a printer)and lock port. I had no problems and I recommend it. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

This device is extremely convenient to have USB -C expansion port which has the following ports.. Micro SD, along with a standard SD card slots, 1 USB-C and 2 USB-A ports. To further expandability it also has an eithernet port in the back. It also comes with 3 M command adhesive strip which is common on the marke to prevent damage when placing it. Perfect for mobile devices with USB C connections etc. Can be used on all sorts of devices for organization purposes. Highly recommend!
