Best Netgear Plug In Wifi Extender

[Auto-MDIX/MDI] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] NETGEAR AX1600 WiFi 6 Mesh Extender (EAX12) was an easy installation setup process, the app was easy to download and provides strong signal.

[4 hours] I had a Netgear Nighthawk set up in roughly the middle of our house, but we still had some places with poor WiFi performance. I saw this on one of the B&H daily specials so bought it. Setup was very easy, just run the app and plug in the central box, set a name and password and wait a few minutes for updates. The meshpoint units are easy as well, just plug them into a power outlet and they do the rest. The WiFi is now great throughout the house. In one of the previously bad spots using the same laptop I went from unreliable with the Netgear to 70 MBps. The only thing I don't know at the moment is how these units hold up over the long term.

[1.42 lb] Our house was not wired with Ethernet cables and I could not get a wifi signal (I purchased a much needed upgraded router and tried a top of the line extender without any luck) into our garage for a sprinkler control panel. I finally came across reviews for the Netgear Powerline 2000+ and figured I would try them out. I plugged the adapter into our power outlet next to the router and plugged the other one on the other side of the house. I pay for 100 mb and average about 98.3 to 98.5 next to the router. Testing the Netgear Powerline 2000+ I get around 97 to 97.3 from it. Since the speed was so good, I put the adapter in a bedroom next to our garage and turned my old router into an AP and now have 70% signal strength in the garage and backyard. Great product for the price, as I saved $60 over the "high end" extender

[0.915 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before buying the NETGEAR extender I had lots of lag playing my video games in my room as the router is in the living as soon as I connect the extender that issue went away I definitely recommend this product for anybody having a gaming issue.

[SPI] works well. I have the wifi router on the bottom floor and use this 1 floor up as a wifi extender - I went from 1-2 bars to at least 3. would buy again.

[Yes] I replaced my old Netgear router and extenders with the Asus GT-AXE16000 and the difference is like night and day. The WiFi signal is solid and the AIMesh partnered with the Asus Zen WiFi XT9 is an unbelievable feature. I'm able to take WiFi all the way to the other side of our house's second floor and it is still a solid connection. The number of options under the web GUI for administrations is amazing. This is a great choice when it comes to any home network. Thank you.
