[Download] I needed a good-quality, medium-priced Mac-compatible, photo scanner for scanning old family photographs. This one fit the bill! It's relatively fast and very easy to use. I was up and running with this scanner 10 minutes after opening the box. For my needs, it was a very good buy.

[64 GB] I've had this scanner for two weeks and it is the Absolute Best Scanner I've ever had!! I love everything about it! Coupled with Epson ScanSmart Accounting Edition really puts it over the top! You can't go wrong with this scanner... the portability, the wireless connectivity, the rechargeable battery... the incredible speed with super clarity... this is everything a portable scanner should be! I suggest purchasing the Aproca Hard Carry Travel Storage Case for it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PKN3MS3?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_954AR5CCJE23Q7VC25Y0

[Download] So far I’m very happy with this scanner. It’s easy to use, and the scan quality is quite good. I’m currently using it to scan some 1970s slides, and plan to at some point shoot and scan new slides or negatives. The scanner replaces an old Polaroid scanner that became unusable when my old SCSI Mac finally died. I had kept the old computer solely to run the Polaroid scanner. Software load and setup for the Plustek is a bit convoluted as others have stated, but once I figured out what to do it went well. I’m using the Plustek on an Intel Mac Pro running MacOS High Sierra. Overall, I recommend this scanner to anyone who wants to scan some old slides/negatives, or start playing around with film photography.

[Download] I was able to get this scanner up and running in a matter of minutes on my Mac (OSX), running VueScan Pro. The only extra step was downloading a readily available driver. (I skipped the SilverFast debacle, based on reviews I had read on this site.) Scans are sharp, grain clearly visible, with none of the Newton's Rings or other nonsense I've experienced with other scanners. Most surprising of all were the crisp and well-balanced scans I got from old color print film negatives. This scanner is totally worth the purchase price!

[20 to 80%] This is a long overdue update from my really old original scansnap scanner. Works fantastic with my M2,Mac Air. so much easier and better quality than trying to scan with smartphone. Should've done it sooner...
