Best Receiver Under 500

[Yes] This is my third Denon receiver. Best one yet. I usually upgrade every ten years. Hopefully this one will last ten years.

[50 dB] Best way to transport a wireless mic, receiver, batteries, cables etc.

[0.73 lb] Best Arca quick release receiver I’ve come across. Great latching mechanism that prevents a camera from sliding out even before the latch is closed. After adding a sigma 70-200 and a smallHD Ultra5, i lost confidence in the cheap Smallrig arca quick releases I’d been using. The Kessler Kwik receiver features a much more robust design and better build quality. I liked the first one so much I bought another. Great system. If I had to pick a downside, it makes a bit of racket (squeak) occasionally when operating the latch, so I wouldn’t recommend dismounting your camera during a take.

[2] Best purchase ever must have for music quality enthusiast. Having a power amp allowed me to also add in professional equalizer to my SR 5011 receiver. Provided power to drive the surround speakers to turn up the movies and music experience to another level which was unachievable with the SR 5011 receiver alone

[Risers: Steel] I use these as a Camera Slider Stabilized by adding a female 5/8" receiver with a male 3/8-16. Best stabilizer I have used to date.

[1.425 lb] Under $1000CAD to get into the motion control game. Not too shabby. Easy to use. Build feels pretty decent. Battery is okay and you can power with external banks. Set up is easy. Definitely a good addition to any smaller freelance kit.

[Yes] Holds a charge for days of regular shooting. Under heavier shooting conditions, I expect it would last a full day. Which is why I have two of these!
