[1x LED] The light is easily the most powerful pen light I have ever owned. I also really like that you can use a rechargeable battery or two AAA batteries. The build quality is excellent, I have dropped mine numerous times and there is no problems. Definitely a high quality product. One of my coworkers bought one as well after seeing how good mine is!

[Wired] I ended up using this receiver. It takes rechargeable AAA batteries which is more economical that than the battery in the ShutterBoss lll receiver.

[0.155 lb] Great little LED flashlight for everyday carry (EDC)! Three, well spaced levels of output from a small, 1xAAA powered flashlight. The 15 lumen low is great for most lighting needs with the 75 lumen medium mode covering just about everything else. The 300 lumen high mode is really for that occasional burst of light or to show off! Runtime is quite good on low and medium for a light that is powered by one AAA battery. You will definitely want to power it by either the included rechargeable Ni-MH battery or a 1.5V lithium primary (Energizer lithium). Alkaline batteries will have reduced runtime on low and medium and will struggle to even produce the high mode for any reasonable amount of time. Like most SureFire products, build quality seems excellent. I've owned quite a few single AAA twist LED flashlights over time. One thing that I immediately noticed about the Titan Plus is than inside the head, SureFire has built a separate metal contract ring which then makes contact with the battery tube, thus completing the circuit. On all other similar lights I've owned, the contact portion inside the head as just been a ring on the circuit board which is prone to wear over time from the twisting of the two together. I'm very impressed that SureFire engineered its light in what looks to be a much more robust fashion. See attached photo. If there is one drawback, it's that the light is fairly heavy compared to other, single AAA flashlights due to its brass construction. Overall thought, I'm very pleased with this light. Definitely worth the money.

[Aluminum] 37 lumens from a flashlight as big as my pinky finger, using one AAA battery, is impressive. I had an older micro-mag with the non-LED bulb, no comparison.

[5.8 GHz] This is hands down the best flashlight I have ever owned. It's small enough to put on a key chain, which means you will have it when you need it and odds are you won't misplace it. It gives out three power levels, the brightest of which is amazing for such a small package and a single AAA battery. It's extremely rugged as well. As I mentioned it uses a single AAA battery and those are very common. The only 'quirk' I have found and it is just a matter of getting used to it is the twist on method of turning it on. You turn it to go on, which is fine, but you turn it back to off, then on again, and then back to off to on again (three times) to get to the highest setting. It's not bad by any means just different than what I am used to. I will be giving this flashlight out to all of my friends and family members as their Christmas present this year. Absolutely perfect for day to day use.
