[1x 2" Color ] I use this with Logic Pro on a 2021 MBP for recording, monitoring, mixing, and mastering in both stereo and 5.1, mostly for scoring and soundtracking. It has a clear, open, sound that accurately represents even very subtle changes to mix, EQ, soundstage, or plugin settings. Mic Preamps sound sweet and clean and will let the character of your mic shine through. The build is solid, and the knob and buttons have a nice click to them. It has a dazzling number of inputs and outputs for its size, and TotalMix gives the user super powerful routing options. Once configured, TotalMix makes it easy to jump between stereo and 5.1. My only caveat is that this is a professional tool, and if you are relatively new to this line of work, there will be a learning curve to understand all of the options the interface has and the concepts behind TotalMix. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't buy it, it is 100% worth it to take the time to learn, and RME has excellent tutorials. This interface will honestly represent what you play through it and will give you the power to create the recording you envision.
