[128 GB] This is a great way to keep using an SSD (which was an internal hard drive) as an external hard drive. The directions are much improved from the same model that I bought two months ago. It's easy to insert the SSD into the case if you keep an eye on where parts fit together.. 5 |

I feel confident backing up data on these hard drives. [50 TB] I have ruined a few external hard drives because of the disc inside was damaged from dropping or bumping them. I found this SSD external hard drive and ordered it for durability. I need to be able to dump my video and photo footage on the fly and carry with me everywhere I go. This external is extremely fast compared to any disc drive. It also has withheld a drop or two from me already. I say get it, and it is worth the extra money. I don't see any reason why this would ever be lower than a 4/5 star rating. 5 |

[500 GB] As a PC builder and a hard core data archiver. I have purchased several of these WD blue 2.5 SSD drives over the last 5 years. Never had any issues with them. I purchased 2 of these 4TB ones to replace slower mechanical drives in my desktop as well as a 2tb one to add to my laptop. These are not the fastest SSD drives out there of course, but they are a HUGE step up over any 7200rpm mechanical drive. These are plenty fast for most of your regular tasks or even 4k video playback/editing. We use them in multi tracking sessions with a Digital Audio Work station where we record several uncompressed WAV files at a time, and the drive never breaks a sweat. Great mid grade SSDs for anyone looking to upgrade their mechanical drives HDDs. 5 |
