[-6 dBu] I bought the 8010's to have some portability when traveling and producing electronic music. They have a roll off at 65 HZ, just where bass gets beefy. Considering the size of the 8010's they do an excellent job in the mid and high frequency range...but they seriously lack in the deep end. I have since supplemented them by adding the 7040A and the difference is astounding. Yes, this sub has weight to it, isn't exactly small and the idea of portability is somewhat limited now but I'd do what is necessary to bring this baby along for the ride. I'm talking fullness across the board when combined with the 8010's that could well stand up to my home studio near fields.

[Active 2-Way] I have been producing, mixing, and mastering electronic music for almost 10 years and when I say that these speakers have taken my music to a whole nother level, I mean it. Seriously worth the money.

[Cardioid] I love this mic! I was looking to expand my home studio considering I had been producing music for seven years. I was recommended by an engineer to purchase this mic considering the tone of my voice. I produced and recorded a song hook and posted it on my soundcloud and people have fallen in love! Mind you I have never recorded myself before and this takes me one step closer to my dream to inspire with my music! I am thoroughly satisfied! You'll love this microphone!

[Mono] I was looking for affordable studio headphones to mix and master my own music tracks, basically guitars, bass and drums at night so my family wouldn't have to sleep in a tent ;-). As of today the sound quality is very good. The bass is not overwhelmed, mid and highs are very well balanced. If you are bass and highs lover they are not for you. They are not 100% studio monitors replacement but for occasionally work at night and tracking are perfect. I have to mention that my head is a size of melon so I'm always worry about the comfort. In this case is no issue.

[20 Hz to 20 kHz] I am 20yo and an aspiring sound producer. I listen to a vast amount of music and just about everything I can find to play on these headphones. From usage in my studio projects to simple leisurely activities (games, music) these headphones are very strong assets. There is excellent outside noise rejection and cancellation once you start playing something. You'd have to wave your hands or cause a tremor in the room to let me know you're trying to get my attention. These headphones are powerful and comfortable, and I love to use them for absolutely everything I am able to use headphones to listen to. It even came with a handy PreSonus draw-sack, although the drawstrings quickly broke within a month or less of day-to-day usage. The only drawbacks for me were: (1.) the result of an accident that occurred where the headphones were plugged into a laptop and the laptop got knocked over onto the side of the audio jack, bending into and ruining my laptop's audio jack input, as well as the headphone's jack. The fall was less than two feet off the ground yet the impact was large enough to cause such damage. (2.) The cord is way too long for my style of usage when not in my studio. I find myself having to coil the string up in my pocket whenever I'm mobile. However, that's clearly not the type of usage it was intended for when it was made. Personal mishaps and usage habits aside, these headphones are awesome, and are an excellent buy for the asking price.

[0.055 lb] I got these headphones to use as both studio and field monitors, but listening to music is also truly a treat. It's lovely to hear music entirely as it was intended to be heard; no added bass or anything. These are the real deal, and they will make you both fall in love with your favorite records all over again, and will help you capture and mix amazing audio. What are you waiting for?

[0.175 lb] Saw these headphones listed as PC Magazine's Best for Affordable Studio Headphones, and I totally agree. I haven't used them for any studio stuff, but they're great for gaming and streaming. Very pleased with what you get for the price. Comfortable, great sound, and cool features (can plug into the left or right side, plug has a lock on it, comes with color bands to identify each chord, adjustable head band).
