Best Windows Work Laptop 2024

[ABS, Aluminum] i have tested this with both a Mac and Windows laptop, and am currently using it with a new 2024 Mac (which only has 2x USB-C ports on the rear). Perfect for plugging in USB memory sticks, an old USB printer, and an external USB HDD for Time Machine backup. Positives - very fast (10Gbps), small and compact, great for travel, no drivers needed, Works with multiple O/S. Negative - Well the only thing i can think of is when its on my desk under the Mac, (with the cable going away from you) the Startech logo is upside down! Very minor point, but this is the only negative i can come up with. Highly recommended product, im very pleased with it.

[Windows ] Be using it to connect a laptop to Ethernet and work works without any issues in Windows 10.

[1 TB] super lightweight (the lightest 14 maybe?), excellent battery life and performance. I don't experience the USB disconnect (a floppy drive?!) that the other reviewer spoke about. This laptop comes with Windows 11 not Windows 10 as per the other reviewer rant. However, this laptop does try to force Amazon on you, but you can remove that. I appreciate the 16:10 screen, it's bright, and not reflective, perfect for actually doing work. extra large trackpad is responsive. USB-C charging is convenient and fast. Loaded Roblox for my kids, the integrated graphics actually can easily handle Roblox. speakers are pretty good, work as expected for a laptop.

[9.51 lb] I work with two Kubuntu 12.04 Linux workstations continuously connected, and a Windows 7 employer's Lenovo 530 laptop that I connect every evening on returning home and disconnect every morning when heading to work (via a Lenovo docking station continuously connected). My monitors are dual Dell 3007 2560x1600 dual-link DVI, keyboard Avant Stellar (PCI connector via USB adapter), with a Microsoft wireless mouse. When using the laptop, I can use its screen in addition to the two Dells. I can switch among these seamlessly. I even have the less-used Linux workstation normally sleeping, as it wakes up properly as soon as I select it. A nice touch is that one Dual-Link DVI cable of each pair has the USB and audio cables integrated into it, keeping the wiring rat's nest manageable. The only annoyance is that, inevitably, because the external monitor configuration for the Windows 7 Lenovo 530 at the office differs, I need to reposition some windows when moving between home and office. But once I got the Windows configuration set up properly, the laptop at least automatically recognizes which monitor configuration it's connected to. (Because the DVI outputs of the Lenovo docking station are single-link, it's necessary to use its HDMI outputs and interpose Accel HDMI to Dual DVI converters between it and the MiniView.)

[8 to 19 VDC] Snapdragon is a quick processor, more than Intel and AMD for a laptop. This one has some great features that work together with Windows. I like the cam login. The PC is in reduced power the second you leave, then starts right up as soon as you sit down. There is also more security with Snapdragon. Copilot+ gets better results than the desktop version. The only problem was an old 2014 Canon laser printer would not install. Three other new printers installed in a minute.

[Nikon F] I purchased two to work with both a desktop windows 10 PC and laptop. The webcam was immediately recognized as the default camera. I had to change the audio settings to make the webcam microphone be the default of choice. The quality and area of video behind my face was impressive. For the reduced price, this is bargain for your online experience. I highly recommend this product!

[600:1] I love my laptop, its fast and works great. My desktop is Windows 7 pro and this comes with windows 8.1 home. I just need to upgrade it to pro and I'm good to go.

[5 W ] Will not work with Windows 7 XP.

[Low-Profile] Worked great with my Windows 10 laptop. I did not need to use the Driver DVD.
