[1 Gb/s] I needed internet access in an old building next to my house. It is too far away from my house to be supported by my wireless router. However, it does share electrical wiring with my house. Running new Cat5 cables was not a good solutions for a variety of reasons so I decided to try TP-Link's AV100 Gigabit Powerline Starter kit. The setup was very easy, basically plug and play. The price was very affordable. While not as fast as a direct connection, it still meets my needs.

[802.11ax] I recently had my internet provider to increase my speed (from 150mbps download to 330mbps). It turned out that my old Wi-Fi card that I had on my PC couldn't quite handle the speed even though it was rated that it can. I bought this card out of curiosity just to see if it was the PC that was causing the bottleneck and not the card. Once I installed it, the download transfer rate just about doubled compared to the old card. In fact, the speed is about the same I'm getting if I had the network cable connected directly from the modem to the PC Ethernet port itself. Anyway, I would advise anyone to first check their wireless router or wireless modem/router to see what Wi-Fi standard it uses. If you still using an old modem/router, this card will only go as fast as that set up allows it to.

[LCD] I use this to provide backup power for my satellite internet, wireless router and VOIP phone system. Occasionally, it also powers my laptop and external LCD. Works great and has more than ample reserves. Functions out of the box with Apple Macs and seemlessly integrates with Energy Saver in OS X via the included USB cable. No Cons so far.

[Internal] I recently bought a dual band router from B&H but wasn't getting the internet speeds I had expected. I checked the built in wireless card on my laptop and discovered that is was a single band card. I found this dual band adapter at B&H and decided to order one. I ordered it Tuesday and it arrived today. With WIN 10 and using a USB 3.0 port, it was as simple as plug and play. I am now getting 3 times faster internet speeds and am very pleased with this device. The price is great as was the free shipping. I would definitely recommend this device for a home wireless network.

[4] The router is easy to set up and link to internet modem. Wireless logon from computers, laptops, phones and even tvs is quick and painless.

[60.00 W] I bought this router to load balance the internet from two ISPs in my home. The configuration and set up was easy and there are plenty of tutorials on the internet to help you. In the end, I was able to configure the router and my internet speed has increased quite a bit with this new setup. Very happy with this purchase.

[Yes] I have Synology NAS devices and thus expected the management software on this router to be good but it is even better than I expected. For example I can control (block) internet access to individual connected devices such as smart-plugs that I don't want phoning home to China and sending my Wi-Fi password. Can also prioritize some devices to get more bandwidth when the network is busy. So TVs don't buffer streaming video just because somebody else is downloading a big file. Configuration options are good for home or office use and includes security features I've never seen on other routers other than the Firewalla network firewall hardware. Can't comment on Wi-Fi range except that it works great everywhere in my apartment. I really appreciate that it has a tiny physical footprint -- unlike so many newer routers it takes up very little space on my office shelf. I don't have a backup internet provider so I can't use the feature that will switch to another internet source when the primary one fails. Even lets you configure an in-router VPN with free licenses for remote connections to your network. Bottom line it provides more than I need right now but has features I may want in the future, so I'm happy.

[4.665 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work from home and have a gaming PC. My router was continuously shutting off, restarting, cutting my internet connection at the most inconvenience times… Any router issue you could name I was having it. After my other router shut off mid day for about the 6th time that day, I said enough was enough ordered this for pickup the same day. I picked it up on my lunch break and set it up. LIGHTNING fast!!! Makes work a breeze and no lags when I do use my gaming PC as well. If I could give this 100 stars, I would. 10/10 definitely recommend for the work from home professional! Or someone who just enjoys super fast internet!
