After I watched a few movie clips that contained enormous amounts of bass (War of the Words, Flight of the Phoenix, TRON Legacy, Super 8), I finally realized what I missing in my home theater. When I was done and left the room, I noticed that a picture had fallen onto the floor, and it was from a wall outside the room. The mobile app has a ton of settings, but I'm a novice when it comes to tweaking sound settings, so I went with the default Movie setting, and it sounds fantastic! Definitely one of the best purchases in a while, and well worth the money.
