Big Jbl Speaker Waterproof

[1x 4.2 W] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, the big sound out of such a small speaker is really impressive. Right out of the sustainable packaging, this speaker was easy to set up and pair, the JBL app offered additional controls for EQ and Playtime Boost. I did not like the sound quality with the play time boost, you sacrifice the richness of the JBL Signature sound, so don't forget to charge the speaker before the party. I really want to add a second speaker to make use of the stereo group, this will be a great setup for campfire nights. I love the styling with the big JBL logo and the orange trim. The finger loop works great for secure carrying. For this price point, this speaker can not be beat!

[Plywood] I've been a JBL person for many years, but I must say that putting this speaker next to my JBl JRX112M (the same speaker configuration), blew me away. I never thought JBL could be surpassed. I was wrong. This EV speaker did it. As a pro musician for many years, I rate this at the top 3 speakers in it's class, if not the top of the heap. I love the light weight for transporting, as I have to move my equipment 5 nights per week in Las Vegas. The sound reproduction is great. It actually put out more volume at the same mixer setting than the JBL. There are two things I would like to see changed. The handles should be on top (as the JBL), not on the sides. This will make the speaker easier to grab and load into a vehicle, instead of bending over and reaching for the handle on the side. Another change I would like to see, is that the cabinet would have both Speakon and 1/4 inputs, as some mixers don't have Speakon outputs, therefore requiring you to buy an adaptor. The JBL has both Speakon and 1/4 inputs. Otherwise, this speaker is an excellent choice...

[5.1] So small but so powerful! And it's very cool that it's waterproof, it can be used as a shower speaker!

[>80 dB] Have had this JBL speaker about 2 weeks. Love the adjustable equalizer on the app. Speaker sounds loud & clear. Has great bass & lofty highs. Love cranking rock music from this speaker. Light show is an added benefit but secondary to the music quality. Sooo happy I bought it! Love this speaker.

[Subwoofer] cant get enough of the jbl sound big, small, the jbl pro line is remarkable

[30 W] The Flip 6 is good, small, inexpensive portable speaker. Sound enough to fill a room, easy to use, battery that lasts a full day or more. Do have to mention however that I had to replace my JBL Flip 5 because it wasn't as waterproof as it claimed, had it for 3 years, and was showing off how it was waterproof to others and it failed the test, so don't assume the waterproofing is as good as advertised. Still worth the money.
