[Roof (BAK4)] Excellent Binoculars for the price. Second pair we bought

[Canon EF] First, have a pair of tweezers or very small pliers on hand. Second, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Other than that, it's easy, and solid. NOTE: this is NOT meant to switch between lenses. If you have more than one Nikon/Nikkor lens, buy one for each. Once it's on there, you won't want to remove it. You can, just not very easily. Also, this does NOT support any AF or aperature or any other electronics. Manual only. I don't yet know the weather sealing on it, but I'm not about to test it. I think I'll keep this in the studio. I love being able to use my favorite old Nikkor nifty fifty again!

[Yes] Serious birding happens when your serious binoculars are around your neck. On the other hand with this little case on your belt, you miss a lot less. Works for me; could for you too.

[Carbon Fiber] For outstanding clarity and resolution in a portable (hand-held) instrument nothing compares to these binoculars - period. I guess that's why they were standard kit on the Space Shuttle and ISS. While a little bulky, this is more than compensated by the viewing experience. They would continue to sell at twice the price.

[Men's L] I have finally found my favorite binos for running. Unlike Swarovski's tiny 'opera' binoculars, these binoculars have a spectacular hand and eye feel, with an optical quality on par with any Swarovski product. They are light and fit perfectly into the palm of the hand.

[Men's M] Everyone I hand these to says, 'Oh!' I really like pocket binoculars for their convenience and stealth (you can walk around looking at birds during lunch and then stuff them in your pocket when you bump into your co-workers). It was between the Curio and the Leica 8x20s. I decided on the Curio because of the larger field of view. What I had not realized was that these would be better than my all my other binoculars at everything, even in very low light. I hesitated to shell out the money, but I'm glad I did. I made a point of ordering from B&H to get the lifetime warranty because they're an official dealer.

[32 mm] This is my first pair of binoculars. I was really impressed with the sharpness of the image. Build quality feels amazing in the hand. Carrying case is really good. My only complaint is that the strap feels very cheap and too wide. It doesn't go with the look of these binoculars.

[8x] The most comfortable binoculars in hand I ever held. Solid as a rock. Feels like military equipment. My wife, who could care less about cameras or optical devices, loves them. Razor sharp with great color, matching my Zeiss Victories and Kahles Austrian made glass. I don't think they are best for birding because the focus has a long throw that doesn't snap in like the Kahles. Also the objective lenses are closer together than most porros so the 3D punch is not quite as dramatic as for example my Swift 8.5x43s.....more like what you get from roofs. But I can't believe what you are getting for the money. They are my current favorites.

[50 mm] What surprised me the most about these binoculars was the crystal clear image presented from edge to edge. The result is a much more 3D view of the world with them. The weight is evenly distributed and the small diameter of the tubes makes it easy to use them hand held for extended periods of time. They are no more difficult to use hand held than by 8x and 10x binoculars. The 50mm objectives are key to the imaging provided as they provide 41% more light transmission than with 42mm objects and where this is very noticeable is in low light conditions. Excellent performance even at dawn and dusk with excellent color fidelity and no fringing of subjects even when they are backlit.
