I use these with the Blackmagic Cinema Camera. I don't like using a matte box because of the size, so these were essential for me. the BMCC doesn't have any IR protection, so these help keep the blacks from turning red/purple. the 2.1 is great since I don't like stacking filters because it can soften the image. there is a little bit of color shift with the 2.1, but it is easily fixed in post, especially if you shoot RAW.

[Black] This is great for putting a matte box on a small camera. Just make sure the Matte Box is the correct lens for whatever camera you have.

[8.14 x 8 x 1"] So I have used the GlimmerGlass series a lot as a large matte-box filter on the cinema cameras. But sometimes I go and shoot inserts on a lighter setup with my FX6 and a Zoom lens. For that purpose this filter is absolutely perfect. If the 1/2, 3/4 and 1/4 become available as 82mm filters I will purchase them.

[Black] It's great to be able to carry the BMPCC4K with a cinema zoom lens and matte box, ready to shoot. It would have been even better if more things could have been put in the side pockets.

[4.2 x 4 x 0.8"] I have a bunch of these for nearly all my cinema lenses. They allow me to quickly mount the Tilta Mirage matte box directly to each lens. They are affordable and come in a wide range of sizes. If you have the Mira matte box, get these. You'll thank me later. The only drawback is that my DZOfilm Vespid prime lenses have lens covers that slip on over the perimeter of the lens. They won't fit with these adapter rings on, so I replaced them with generic Canon clip on lens caps.
