Blue Ice Microphone With Stand

[Black] They do exactly what I wanted them to do. I have a Blue Yeti microphone and I wanted these to use the mic on a stand. They work great.

[Stand Base] Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug.

[Passive] Purchased for custom install at a new ice cream stand. Paired with Pyle Pro PTA4 Mini for outdoor sound and they are great. The bass is good (without having to drive the EQ) and the highs are clear. Mostly they play a radio station, but occasionally call out orders for customers who are waiting. These speakers sound great. Now to see how well they perform in the winter and elements. We mounted these outdoor under a small eave and they are exposed to 110 degree summer days and will face temperatures in the single digits. Mostly dry humidity but will surely experience a couple of snow events in the next few months. Solid design. Great response. I'll buy more!
