I prefer the matte touch for the glare, and it has been extremely helpful. If you're looking for a screen protector, this should definitely be top-choice!

[Scratches] Twice I've had ACs drop or smash my SmallHD monitor, both times it looked like the screen was completely cracked and both times it turned out only the screen protector cracked and my monitor was fine. Did the screen protector save my monitor? Possibly! Per the other reviews, I have had no issues attaching this to my monitor (one time I didn't apply it quite straight and I had to push out the air bubbles but once I did that no further problems). I also don't feel that the protector limits my ability to tell critical focus when I zoom in on my monitor.

[0.04 lb] This screen protector installs quickly and easily without the need for special tools. The Focus 7 is a decent monitor. Though billed as “daylight viewable”, that only goes so far (in Key West in the middle of summer, not so much). The screen is very reflective and that can cause viewing issues even on set in a controlled environment. Same with the screen protector that ships with the monitor. The matte finish on this protector effectively eliminates any glare/reflections and makes the monitor MUCH easier to see. I wish I’d picked up one of these sooner.
