[Black] I got the ATH-M40X headphones that do not come with the 3' cord as the M50x does. I got a 3rd party first, a modern braided wire, but it made noise as I moved my head while speaking. This original cable, though, feels soft to the touch and I no longer have the issue I had with the braided cord. I should have bought this from the beginning instead of saving some bucks. I recommend getting this original cord. 5 |

[0.365 lb] I bought these after buying the ATH-M50X. The cups are deeper then to stock ones that come on it. If you have larger ears then I highly recommend these. 5 |

[0.055 lb] Popped these earpads onto my ATH-M50X to replace the old, flaking originals. They have given new life! Padding is comfortable, and they were easy to put on. Have not noticed any drop in sound quality. Recommended replacements if your earpads are on their last legs--a very worthwhile fix for the price! 5 |
