[Black] I use this in reverse of normal use in that I use it to take a stereo feed out of an audio board and convert it to a mono feed that I can record onto one channel of my audio recorder.

[Download] I recently produced a livestream for a consecration of a bishop. Where the signal off the mixing board, which I did not control, was way hotter than it was in tech rehearsal. The output channel was clipping before it even got to my ATEM board and, as a result, the audio was destroyed on all the music. Luckily, I could crowd source the audio from cell phone recordings and was able to save most of the service. This product was released three weeks after the consecration so it wasn't an option. Now, with the H6Essential, my new rig is a standard four channel safety system. Channel one and two are the on board XY, channel three is a super cardioid mic aimed at the stage and channel four is the feed from the board. I monitor the feed and switch channels on and off as needed. The 32 bit recording capability is epic! I had my daughter scream at full volume into the mics and she did not overdrive it once. No clipping. So, we decided to name it Edgar (all my equipment has a name) after the poem the Raven. I will have clipped audio nevermore. Thanks Zoom and B&H! Epic piece of kit.

[Titanium] The speaker squeezes a few functionality under the same roof for a fairly low price. It has bluetooth, SD card reader and USB playback. It also has USB recording which is surprisingly a rare feature in audio equipment. The only other model that I found having this feature was Fender Passport Venue which is much more expensive. It is a surprise that it's such a rare feature --- it's the 21'st century for goodness sake! The speaker has a 3 channel mixer which is fairly good for me. I am connecting the Left/Right output of my mixer to the L/R inputs. The speaker mixes these two into one channel. I occasionally connect the bluetooth of my iPhone or iPad to it and use it to play back. I am no expert in audio equipment. I am a simple occasional user who needs something of a fairly good quality, and this has so far given me what I wanted. Although I am wondering if the 15 version of the same speaker sounds any better. It has wheels and rubber or synthetic pads underneath that make it very easy to move on a hardwood floor. It has handles on the top, and on both sides which make it very easy to carry. The casing is nice but not tough. If you often need to carry it to venues, wrap it, secure it or use a carrying case.

[Polyurethane] I primarily do sound location recording for film. A producer recently gifted me with five of these Elasco single-channel cable drop overs. He rarely used them, but I immediately started using them on every shoot to guard my audio cables and stingers. They easily snap together to make as long a run as you need. I recently was on a gig where I needed more, so I ordered five additional identical Elasco single-channel cable drop overs. Greatest benefit is obviously protecting the integrity and longevity of my cables and stingers from crew members walking on them, standing on them, and rolling carts and gear over them. Safety wise, this is a great preventative measure from people tripping over any of my cables. I rarely need to gaff tape cables down anymore which is a major financial savings. Just be sure to get the right width and height to fit your cable needs. The ED1050 Single-Channel is sufficient for two to three audio cables or two 12-gauge stingers. If you use larger diameter cables or run bundles of cable together, I'd recommend bumping up another size or two, just beware that the larger you go in height and width, the weight of each drop over goes up as well. No question it raises your perceived professionalism a notch or two with clients. Don't know how I made it so long without these. Highly recommended.

[2772] In my first review I said that only having a mono channel was a serious design flaw in this system. Unfortunately, I displayed my ignorance of professional audio. Using my prior Sennheiser systems, I thought that my lav mic was stereo and that therefore I was getting a stereo signal. I was wrong. It is a mono lav mic that Sennheiser converts to a left and right channel (or a single mono channel to sound like stereo) and then I hear stereo. But this happens in the background so my lack of audio knowledge thought it was a stereo signal that I saw on my video editor and/or my DAW. Sony does the same thing; it creates a single mono track for each of the two (or more) transmitters and leaves it up me as the user to determine how I want to change the signal to a left and right track. I use Fairlight in DaVinci Resolve and there are three very easy and quick ways to convert the single mono channel to stereo or a L/R mono channel. If you don't know how to do this, check out many videos on YT. Hope this helps someone. I pulled out a few hairs figuring this out with the help of the Pro Audio guys at B&H - super big shoutout to them! As a result of my ignorance I've upgraded my review to 5 stars - and another 5 for the B&H Pro Audio guys

[1.9 GHz] The Sound Devices MP-1 is a good single-channel preamp for recording audio for film and video. I use mine with the Rode NGT-2 shotgun mic on a boom pole to record clean dialog with a good signal-to-noise ratio. Solid construction, not to big or bulky, this is a great tool and my clients appreciate my use of it.

[15 mA (No Load)] This mixer was purchased for use at my desk with 4 sources all using 3.5mm: desktop PC, Laptop, display audio out, and aux in usually a tablet or tape deck. The packaging was superb; mixer was well packed and included the AC power adapter. While writing this review, I have all sources connected and the audio output is crisp, no cracking or breaks in the audio feed. The volume knobs feel robust and smoothly rotate. I do wish this mixer had push mute buttons for each channel, but for the cost, it's fine to use the knob to mute a channel. The AC adapter worked fine and the power button was nice and robust. I have no intention of using this device on battery power so did not test the battery runtime (9V); handy if you're using this unit in a road case maybe. This mixer lets me change devices and not have to worry about the audio feed - every device is on a channel and the mixer gets everything to the speakers without fumbling with cables. For $100, this is a great mixer and made in the USA to boot which is a very welcome thing to see. Should my audio needs grow, I will definitely look for future Rolls products.
