Bluetooth For Home Phone Headset

[2.5 Hours] The headset does exactly what I want it to do. Great headset for working from home on the phone a lot.

[Synthesizer] I'm using this mostly as a phone headset with a Fiio bluetooth adapter, for work teleconferences, but I also use it to listen to tunes. It works far better than it should for music, and it's comfortable. Very nice.

[0.035 lb] It works, but it's odd how the volume seems muted from the Rode mic vs using a bluetooth headset or the built in mic on the phone.

[32 Ohms] I like to use wired earphones with my mobile phone - just to keep things simple (Bluetooth is nice, and I have a superior Bluetooth headset, but sometimes it can get glitchy and I have to remember to charge it, etc.) I got a pair of these at B&H and decided it would be handy to have a spare in the bedroom... so I got another and, in addition got a pair for my sister to use with her phone.

The bluetooth connection is between the base and the cell phone, with DECT to the headset. So you leave the phone on your desk and take the headset with you if you want to walk around. DECT has much better range than Bluetooth and is not affected by microwave ovens or WiFi, so calls are clear and consistent at all times.

[1x USB-A] For 2 years, I have been using the Jabra Evolve 65 headset that pairs to a PC via bluetooth adapter. While the audio quality is excellent with the Evolve 65, when speaking on my corporate VoIP UC application, my range was limited to bluetooth ranges. The audio quality drops off sharply within 20 feet, and does not penetrate my household walls, doors, glass windows, etc. I could not comfortably walk into the kitchen or restrooms with the bluetooth transmission ranges. When I purchased this new headset, all of my range limitations went away! The DECT wireless allows me to go anywhere in my house, or even outside to the mailbox without interrupting the audio quality of my work. I work from home full-time, and the Engage 75 is the first headset that keeps me working and audible anywhere I wander around my home.

[Yes, on Boom] This headset is amazing!! Perfect for a home office if you have several devices, including mobile phone, that you want to talk on. I have four devices connected and it works seamlessly. And the range, which is adjustable, is amazing.
